My fault meant Lindor not Tatis

Should've mentioned I was just comparing infields.

Welp…add the 2023 Mets I suppose. North of 800mil invested this off-season and and a 2023 roster costing just under a half billion is…something

If I'm a Giants fan this off-season would have given me PTSD.

Yeah, just sucks we missed out on the Braves. I can still see those strike 3 calls that were 6 inches off the plate.

Yes, it’s different. Cause for PF there really isn’t a cure. You just hope it gets better

Yes, when only looking at the upside it certainly doesn’t meet the definition of costing us big

I guess you don’t understand the risk

In any case, we refuse to give out deals like that to even our own players and you think we would trade for someone with a similar deal, who just basically missed an entire season

    Um, ok

I like the Abreu signing, and while I can’t get mad over this off-season (especially considering Yordan got locked in for the next half decade), I would like to see at least Javier get an extension, especially now that ground balls will be more dangerous than usual.

Don't forget the White Sox and their beatdown in 2021, add the 1998 Padres since I'm still salty about Kevin "PED Power" Brown.

I wonder if what the Mets are doing affect Crane's mindset?

Most likely not. Cohen is worth $17 billion. Crane is worth roughly $1.5 billion. Cohen just has much deeper pockets than Crane ever will, and that’s ok. That’s not to say Crane can’t spend more, but he’ll never be able to spend close to the level of Cohen.

I'm glad it's the NL teams that made dramatic improvements. They won't be much worry until the Astros get to the WS.
AL teams either stayed the same or made very slight improvements.

I feel like that is good news. The tweet makes it seem like not “swinging the bat until mid January” is bad but I mean that is like 2 weeks away and many were concerned Brantley wouldn’t be back for a while…Or what am I missing ?
