Were the holidays responsible for the sloppy play and poor effort? And the early quit?

No, the problem was that Sengun was feasting on their interior (80 ****ing percent) and somehow ended up only playing 24 minutes and put up 10 shots. Instead, having a team struggling to hit threes keep heaving seemed like a better idea. KPJ was hardly the only player that **** the bed, but he also led the way with the most heaves and shot attempts.

This is what you deal with during a rebuilding process, I really do not see him on the team next year, unless he is a 6th Man

I guess being a “professional NBA player” is a voluntary act…

DO YOUR F****NG JOB ON THE COURT AND STOP GIVING US STUPID EXCUSES WHILE MAKING MILLIONS OUT OF THIS MEDIOCRITY.

I hope we'll finally get rid of him after this year. There's no hope left. He's easily gotten worse than he was in his first year here.

There's no visible improvement. just bad attitude

Jamal has an outstanding record on/off the court. I would call it an HUGE success if he was even close to him but not a bit.

He needs to be converted into the 6th man role. I'm sure Silas would Nix that though. The lineups and rotations are a joke.

    He's right.

The North Pole posted that Christmas was cancelled in San Antonio - thus the Spurs didn't have the same holidays/thoughts on their mind - thus played better.

    Over exertion.

While I am content they won some games, that had to be draining for a young team

He's playing 24 mins because defense! He's standing flatfooted and won't move.

The real problem is not just that, the real problem is our offensive system is horrible. No movement, one on one and too many 2's and not enough 3's.

This is just his first year as a leader. He will learn to make better excuses. It takes years to develop those skills.

Feasting, he was playing well for sure, but he was also not open every time down the court and people were missing like crazy.

Sengun is not Hakeem - though I would like to see him get the ball more on the block, I understand why he isn't. And his defense was ass last night....just like the rest of the teams.

They love to look at his points and minutes but don’t see the other team abusing him putting him in PnR or high ball screens which causes open 3s.

Was plenty of movement - lol shooting 20% from 3 doesn’t mean chunk more 3s

    Green missed like 4-5 layups

    Rockets missed 11 FTs

Make FTs, make a few more of the missed 3s and the game isn’t as much of a blowout as it appears

Rockets badly need a shooting coach - everyone is missing wide open 3s … I feel once Stone decides to trade Gordon … Nix or TyTy will start at PG and KPJ will move to SF

Green and KPJ insist they want to be on court together but Green clearly plays a lot better with a pass first PG on court

Because you cant post him up every single time down the court. Jokic leads the league with barely 5 post ups per game. Alpy has about half of that on par with the infamous Chris Wood, except that Wood can actually step out and be a threat from most spots on the court. Do you remember what Nick Nurse did when this team tried that pure post approach? Should he get more touches YES! A THOUSAND TIMES YES, but if Sengun is not going to shoot jumpers and he needs to be spoon fed baby hook shots eventually that offense becomes predictable and easy to stop.

Before the vultures "whatabout" to KPJ or some other poor player on the team Im on board with trading, benching or otherwise with him. Still wont change a thing. This isnt a post up league anymore and even worse we have a coach with no history of being able to incorporate that into his offense. He was supposed to be here coaching Harden! If an NBA player cant hit a 15 foot jumper routinely then he's one dimensional. High post initiation as a passer? Hell yes lets do it - Seems like Silas is starting to warm up to that approach from his latest comments so maybe he needs to hit up YouTube instructional videos to help him out since it seems to be that easy to implement.
