Smith may be our best prospect and I am way higher on Green and Sengun than most.

I like that not only is he a good shooter and defender, he’s also a good rebounder. It’s very natural for him. Once he develops an offensive post game he’ll be a very complete player. I absolutely love Jabari. He’s gonna be the kind of player every coach in the league wishes was on their team.

All he needs is that turnaround J. With his release point, 99% of the NBA players can't block it

He can't create his own shot. His defense can be elite though but he's going to be really reliant on those around him for a bit.

He’s literally been creating his own shot for a month now

I feel like you don't watch the games if you actually think that. He's been creating his own shots, his issue has been finishing. He made himself a nasty play the other night. He just needs league experience and to gain some weight. An off-season with Hakeem and he's going to be ridiculous.

You and I are always on the same page about I guys I’ve noticed. I see what you are saying BUT we are beginning to see him, hit the three off the dribble, and hitthe turnaround from the elbow. Not to mention that you can see he’s been practicing his foot work as far as driving to the rim.

Personally, I’m excited out of what I’m seeing on the offensive end IN ADDITION to his shooting.

Get this man 16 shots a game.

    8 three pointers
2 offensive rebounds l/putbacks (he kind of has to generate those).
    2 drives
    3 turn arounds

I believe Green is the best prospect in the last 2-3 drafts. I also think Smith is the best partner for Green in the last 3 drafts.

Exciting times to be a Rocket fan

He was stiff as hell, offensively, the 1qtr of the season.. But you can tell he's been in the gym working on a variety of moves.. He still has very low explosion but that'll come with proper training and conditioning.. He's gonna be very very good by next season.. He has the mentality now..

In addition to what others have said, I like his on-court demeanor too. He takes himself pretty seriously and he’s got some fire. It’s a nice personality contrast to some of the other young guys on the team.

Sometimes I don’t even really know what he’s upset about, but he seems pissed off. I think having a guy with a “**** you” mentality in the team isn’t a bad thing.

He’s also a really consistent free throw shooter, which is no small thing after suffering through the Christian Wood experience last year.

As I tell my kids, attitude is everything. If the rest of the Rockets had that killer mentality no one would be talking about tanking here. . . . But we got players who like to paint their nails so. . .

It would be better if he was able to make 3 foot shots at an average level

If he just took 10-15 threes a game and nothing else, I wouldn’t mind. Leave the interior to Green, Sengun, and KMJ.

There are killers in real life who paint their nails. Does that make you feel better?

Oh. My point wasn't about receiving a high-caliber player in return. I was saying that if Jabari (or Jalen) aren't getting the touches they deserve as top five overall picks, Rockets management should make moves to find players that are more willing passers (like in the situation with Francis and Yao).

At some point, Stone has to blatantly let KPJ know he's not the guy on this team.
