If this is true, it may pave the way for a Nick Van Exel trade to the Rockets.

Average Joe: "Rockets- Do you have a starting Point Guard?"

    Rockets: "Go Fish."

yeah its no joke...someone on some other thread predicted that Fisher would go to the Warriors...now that the warriors have claxton and van exel, at least one of them has to go...i think van exel would be a great pg option for rockets

I wonder if this means we'll be getting a starting PG by default instead of getting one by choice.

Y'know - just taking the PGs who are left instead of taking one we'd want.

We may end up with our current Lue/Gaines/Wilks configuration at the beginning of the season.

Could we get Claxton? Any speculation there?

Two little mice fell in a bucket of cream. The first mouse quickly gave up and drowned. The second mouse, wouldn't quit. He struggled so hard that eventually he churned that cream into butter and crawled out. Gentlemen, as of this moment, we are that second mouse.

First they give Foyle that terrible contract, now they give Fisher a terrible 6 year deal for almost the full MLE. If I were a Warrior fan, I would be pissed.

Claxton or Van Exel would both be great PGs for us...both are good offensive guards but van exel has a better 3pt shot than claxton so maybe his game would fit in our new system better

    D Fisher signs with Warriors

I just heard it on KNBR 680 out of San Francisco. Looks like no Fish for the Rockets. They said they would come back with more info. I will post as soon as I hear.

    Excellent.

I was afraid that Fisher was going to get that kind of contract from CD.

I really hope the Rockets will not participate in that madness.

Almost reminds me of the Internet bubble.

Does Golden State have any sort of plan whatsoever? It seems like they are randomly adding players.

They now have 6 guards in Van Exel, Claxton, Fisher, Pietrus, JRich, and Dunleavy.

    Ridiculous contract!!

Why is it that this summer all the mediocre players are getting overpaid??

-Maybe because there is a lack of star power on the market?
