I used to be a big fan of Kobe, but the way he's been acting, IE running Phil and Shaq out of town has changed my feelings about the guy. BTW, this guy is about to turn 26 and he already has 8 yrs of NBA experience, that still amazes me. Same goes for our own T-Mac (I love saying that, our T-mac) who has 7 yrs exp. and is only 25.

Laker fans are amazing. They're bragging and saying that Laker "haters" are crushed and devastated and that they won. You lose Phil Jackson and Shaq and a team that has gone to the Finals 4 of the last 5 years and won 3 championships has been shredded to make Kobe Bryant happy, but the Laker fans won and the Laker "haters" lost. Wow.

Kobe would have been unwise to divide his fanbase with his pending trial ahead and he has to look at the additional $30 million because his biggest priority is his family and they're extended family's well being in the event he's found guilty and has no income ability. I could care less about Rudy having a good team around him cause he's a rival now, although without Waq they're not a major threat to anyone in the west. I got no love for the Lakers and hope they fade into obscurity with or without Rudy.
I maybe wrong but I think that if Kobe is convicted of rape this contract would be voided, or at least part of it would be.
