....a point to think about that I am sure Dream is considering: If I got with Toronto, would I have a better chance of getting to the finals?...I know the East isn't as powerful as the West, so if he paired with Vince and others, he may have a better chance...Besides that, personally I'd rather see him him here on the roster next season.

Hands down Toronto. Of course, I'd say he has a better chance of winning the finals with Houston, since if they actually came out of the West they'd beat the crap out of whatever pansy the East put up [IMG].

Toronto without a doubt. The east is weak and it would be easier beating the Lakers in 7, than trying to potentially beat the Spurs, King & Lakers to get to Orlando.

The answer to the question is obvious. The Raptors have a statistically higher chance to make the EC Finals than the Rockets the WC Finals over the next 2 years (Dream hypothetically on each team).

That said, I think the Raptors with Dream will still have their hands full with the Sixers (Deke), Bucks (EJ plays Dream tough), Magic (Dreams #'s were not that much better and Ewing plays more minutes), Hornets (Campbell also plays Dream tough), and Heat (if Zo is back).

The Wiz have White & Brown as a tandem and the Hawks offer Theo and Nazr.

I think Toronto should wait awhile before hoisting up the EC Championship banner.

The Rockets- if they came into the season with the goal of making the finals, rather than just to improve.

ROXRAN, your asking the right question about Dream...
Is it really about the money or getting back to the playoffs and possibly the Finals?

Reason being all of the teams that want Dream are good teams(that need a good center Toronto, Indiana, Miami.....) their not the teams rebuilding except for his hometown team the Houston Rockets(I don't see Seattle being a contender is one example...)
I'm sure he wants to get back to the playoffs more than money...At least I would think so...
Either way Houston is not going to be a contender until 2-3 more seasons...
This can also be a deciding factor....

I liked Toronto before (although Carter annoys me sometimes) and of all places for Hakeem to go (Indiana, Miami, Washington, etc) Toronto would be the best fit and the most exciting from a NBA fan's perspective, especially since the Raptors do have the talent to make it to the Finals in the East.

I'm guessing Dream would be the #2 option on offense in Toronto ? He would probably be #3 or #4 here. I think that could be a factor as well.

I'm guessing that dream would be the #2 option until about Decebember 12, at which time his first injury or condition of the season would kick in.

The Raptors were one win away from the ECF. I think that with or without Dream, they have a pretty good chance of reaching the ECF in 2002. The Raptors have a decent shot at the Finals, but winning the Finals is another story.

The Rockets are where the Raptors were two years ago...getting into the playoffs.
