    Phil Longo I believe.

It’s not the same simple system Mack used to run, there are more reads. So there’s probably something to what you’re saying

Longo did run a straight air raid style.

Has some west coast concepts and vertical concepts, still has multiple reads.
I would like to see him under center more, but hell, the only team in the league that stays under center is Peps offense right now lol

Perfect time to hit that portal hard then.. Grab some of them 5th year seniors coming up.. Recruit them by saying we have everything else for something special.. And it just might get some of yall noticed for scouts..

Mack never ran **** on offense. You're thinking of Greg Davis.

You’re right. And even then this isn’t the same offense.

    That was me.

    Klank for Klubnik

He was great fun to watch in HS, their whole Westlake team was, just a machine.

A team that has so many holes, but actually has serviceable tight ends drafting a tight end?

Would be hilarious. Especially because that's the precise reason many think we don't need a QB yet.

Expecting the Texans to get the 1st overall pick after today's trounce by Cleveland.

Cleveland is going to fall somewhere between 10-15 judging based on how bad Watson looked today.

Trade Cooks in the offseason for a 3rd.

Houston can turn this around next year.

    1) Young
    1.2) Q. Johnson, Njiba, Addison
    2) Take best front 7 available

Bring in Demeco Ryans as coach.

Free agency heavy on the front 7.

Having Young at QB will force more zone looks from other teams and drafting a speedster at WR will force teams to play a little softer allowing Pierce and Co more room to operate.

Respectable .500 record next year with these moves based on how awful the division will be.

That is an extremely optimistic look at what could happen. Unlikely yes, but if I were Nick, I would be more inclined toward this route.

Take Bryce and upgrade the defense in free agency. Can compete in the division as early as next season.

That is surprising, don’t think he can get his draft stock higher

This is the direction they probably will go. They will become mediocre faster. But it's not best for the long term 5 years from now.

The defensive free agents for next season dont look sexy at all. Just saying. Im fine with Young here as long as the coaching has been changed, but they MUST hit on a couple of defenders in this draft preferably Edge and DL.

Personally I'd use the first pick on the best defender in the draft, but at the same time acknowledge the supreme importance of the QB for a team. Its a slippery slope when you have a ton of holes and piss poor coaching staff.

You don't pass on great players because you have avg players at a position.

Having Washington is like having a 6th ol and he would be by far the best receiving TE on the roster. Unless you think Jordan is the answer. If Washington is there at 2-32 then he would be a great pick. He goes along with my fix the trenches philosophy.
