There is a post from Pete Townshend in the "diary" section of his website (http://www.petetownshend.co.uk/) describing how Michael Moore wanted to use "Won't Get Fooled Again" in Farenheit 9/11 but Townshend refused because he doesn't like Moore's style of filmmaking. He said he saw "Bowling for Columbine" and didn't like it, and he called Moore just as much of a bully as the person he is bashing in Farenheit 9/11. Townshend said that he supported the war in Iraq at the beginning but is now having second thoughts about whether it was worth it. Very interesting.
a lot of people have issues with Moore's style of filmmaking as well as his own pompous attitude (as I do), but they still agree with his overall point. The same can be said about many of those who support the president. I really think they are different sides of the same coin or rather different ends of the same snake.
Since this is a Michael Moore thread... http://images.chron.com/content/chronicle/comics/archive/2004/7/14/Strange_Brew.524.g.gif
