All the Rocky Mountain Revue games begin in Utah 3 hours before your posted times... You list 7:00 PM for tonight's game, but it's scheduled for 4:00 PM Utah time, which is 5 in Houston... Just pointing that out cause we should get y'all some updates a little faster than you thought... But it also means I might be a little late to tonight's game... I was planning on 6, but now I have to try and weasel out of work a little earlier... Achebe, Moe.... See you at the bench... ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
Is Moe going to make it? Darkhorse, my wife and I are getting neurotic, so we're debating about whether or not to go to the Uintas or Jackson Hole or somewhere. I should still be able to make today's game though (and be back before Monday's game). ------------------ Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen...
Here's the schedule from Rockets.com-- it has the game today starting at 3 Central. http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/revue_2001.html?nav=ArticleList ------------------ Draftsource.net-- the premier source for draft info. Profiles, rankings, mock drafts, and more! The Mo Taylor Fan Site
Thanks for the tip, DarkHorse... you're saying all of the games? The most important one to get right is the 26th against the Jazz, since it's on ESPN2. I changed tonight's game to 5pm though... ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
Yeah I just went the wrong way... +1 instead of -1... ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
Actually, if I'm not mistaken, you went the right way. If the game starts at 4pm in Utah, then it starts at 5pm here. The game would have to start at 2pm in Utah to be at 3pm here. So at what time does it start in Utah -- at 4pm? ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET [This message has been edited by Clutch (edited July 20, 2001).]
[edit:] oops redundant. Clutch, the rmr (jazz site) says the game is at 4, and that all times are mtn. [This message has been edited by Achebe (edited July 20, 2001).]
Here's the complete RMR schedule: (Utah time) Friday, July 20 4:00 -- Dallas vs. Houston 6:00 -- Phoenix vs. Chicago 8:00 -- Cleveland vs. Denver Saturday, July 21 2:00 -- Memphis vs. Houston 4:00 -- Dallas vs. Cleveland 6:00 -- Phoenix vs. Utah 8:00 -- Chicago vs. Denver Sunday, July 22 4:00 -- Toronto vs. Memphis 6:00 -- Dallas vs. Chicago 8:00 -- Portland vs. Denver Monday, July 23 2:00 -- Cleveland vs. San Antonio 4:00 -- Phoenix vs. Memphis 6:00 -- Houston vs. Portland 8:00 -- Toronto vs. Utah Tuesday, July 24 12:00 -- Portland vs. Cleveland (ESPN2) 2:00 -- Chicago vs. Toronto 4:00 -- Dallas vs. Phoenix 6:00 -- Denver vs. Utah (ESPN2) Wednesday, July 25 4:00 -- Houston vs. San Antonio 6:00 -- Cleveland vs. Chicago 8:00 -- Memphis vs. Dallas Thursday, July 26 12:00 -- Phoenix vs. Toronto (ESPN2) 2:30 -- Chicago vs. Memphis 4:30 -- San Antonio vs. Denver 6:00 -- Dallas vs. Portland 8:00 -- Houston vs. Utah (ESPN2) Friday, July 27 2:00 -- Memphis vs. Denver 4:00 -- Houston vs. Phoenix 6:00 -- Cleveland vs. Utah 8:00 -- Toronto vs. Portland Saturday, July 28 6 p.m. -- Toronto vs. San Antonio 8 p.m. -- Portland vs. Utah ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
Yay! I guess that means I'm smarter than Rockets management... ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
So I guess this means that, ummm yeah, all your times are incorrect... ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
Not necessarily. At least they knew which way the timezones went, they just read the rmr site as 4 et instead of 4 mtn. LOL! ------------------ Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen...
Just out of curiosity -- where did you get this - off the Jazz site? It's quite a bit different than what was released before. For example - the 21st against the Grizzlies. Rockets were originally supposed to play Memphis on the 19th, then it was gone. I DID see on the Memphis site they had the Griz playing Houston that day, but not on Houston's info. The 22nd -- we're supposed to play Phoenix? There it doesn't have us playing... instead has us playing Phoenix on the 27th, when the originally released info by the Rockets lists us playing Toronto. Hmmm .... ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET [This message has been edited by Clutch (edited July 20, 2001).]
Moe said he was coming to tonight through Monday's games... And there's another guy that emailed me that's coming down from Idaho. I don't think he actually posts on the BBS, but he reads it... That's all I've heard from so far... ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
Yes, I did get it from the Jazz site... I figured it was the most accurate schedule since they were hosting, but of course I suppose they could be wrong... But I believe the link from the Jazz is considered to be the "official" RMR site... ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
Screw it then -- going with your info. I just changed the teams and times... http://www.clutchcity.net/revue.cfm Thanks for the heads up! ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
Okay, I'm frightened. All of those disagreemens in the hangout were just disagreements, riiiight? A change of plans Darkhorse, I'm not going to wear that Planet Earth t-shirt. Lurker, look for a really tan guy w/ thick black hair and a moustache. That's me. ------------------ Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen... No problem... I just noticed this... on the bottom of the schedule: All Times Mountain Time Schedule Updated July 11, 2001 Maybe that helps? Anyway, I would just drive up there and check for sure, but, you know, it's like an hour one way for me... Worst case scenario I just show up a couple hours early, right? Anyway, I think this chatroom is done now... ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
