I just watched the OT of this game. I remember AJ going beastmode on them. @2hrs 53min our defender Manning #38 took the football right to the balls when he failed to catch the interception LMAO. Watching this old clip, and seeing all the fans in the stands.....made me think of who's jersey do fans rep these days? There were so many 56, 99, 80, 23 jerseys back in the day.
Y'all really loved a football team wearing a color most often seen in a nursery room and newborn baby boy rooms? Nothing says men playing tackle football like baby blue. I liked red as the dominant color for the Roughnecks with the Oil Derek.
Could have gone with "Blues" to harken back to the "Luv ya Blue" days in the past. Wonder how annoyed the Titans would be about using the old logo then. If not, lean into the space theme as noted and you could tie it in with the NASA blue uniforms/colors and have a space oriented lean to what Blues means (less music, more space).
Let's say hypothetically if Cal offered Amy a big chunk of change for the naming rights let's say 50 million do you think she would bite?
[Premium Post] As the original poster in this thread... just stopping in to say I told you so. GOOD DAY
Long live the Houston Oilers. If you want to see some nostalgia, stop by the corner of Woodway and Sage. There’s an homage to one of the Oiler greats, #79 DE Ray Childress, who lives right behind the wall where the tribute stands.
