Suns starting backcourt scored 83 points (3 players). KPJ and Jalen has to work on defence more. I don't say the same thing for Eric Gordon. Because he has to be retired. Doesn't need to work for something.
Jalen has taken a leap defensively over the last few games. Stayed right in front of Booker and even got the steal a few plays prior to that
Based on what evidence? 2 yrs in a row: worst record in the league. Marginal improvements if at all, terrible rotations, worst FG% in the league, worst TO's in the league... Please tell me you're joking defending him
Rox are exposed now. Any further losing will result in an immediate tanking investigation by the league, mark my words.
you just need to have some patience with rookies. He still did a couple of ugly off balance shots, but he is learning to pick his moments better.
The swing in both his and Jalens' play during the rookie years is insane, the performance variability with young players is wild.
ill go farther than that: Bruno played great. I was afraid Silas was going to play him the whole 4th, but he was gassed. Sengun came in and i was legit scared, but Sengun played great. that defense and then kick out to EG for 3.. we did it.
based on the history of coaches of young teams in NBA … but y’all won’t accept that because y’all think we should be winning enough games for the play in (when Tilman and Stone) already said that was not the plan until next year
Great game from Green, Jabari, Sengun and then KPJ and Fernando in the 4th qtr. Sengun had 1 fg in the 3rd quarter, the hacked dunk but it's not like they weren't looking for him. 4 silly bounce passes to him of the roll for turnovers. Post him the F' up. He can take anyone or pass. Jabari's length really causes a lot of deflection with friendlier whistles from the zebras, he'd be so much disruptive. KPJ settled down mentally after the soft embrace by the big Boban, doesn't show up in the boxscore. Matthews with a huge three that put some doubt in the Suns. All around great game to watch highlights. What else? The Latina MC for the Suns on court events during commercials was outstanding looking like Jamie Batista.
A great win. Every Rocket that took the court tonight contributed to it, and Silas, who I have criticized plenty, gave us a well coached game. It’s a good feeling. We may not have very many games like this, but now we know it’s possible. That’s a beginning.
You go and strip back a roster and just add kids with not many solid veterans around them and with a rookie coach as well and see how far they get. The Thunder have done the same thing and had a worst winning percentage last season than they did the year before when they had their first season of their rebuild and they are a year ahead of us in their rebuild. We are only in year two. The Thunder in year three are now starting to see the fruits of their rebuild this season so far.
