While Fentanyl is incredibly dangerous for the actual users, the continuing stories of officers getting second hand exposure OD has been debunked. It is a completely false narrative that being pushed by the media.

 

This story seems pretty vague, no? The two workers were exposed. What specifically does this mean? Was there a big table of powder next to fan? I worked in Downtown LA for 3 years and I'll tell you, nobody is ignorant to the drug infestation. I say this because I stand by my sentiment that it's very difficult for an adult to overdose from 2nd hand exposure.

To add to the poor reporting, we have a random shot of a random dude saying " now it's killing people in seconds". This is true for people that are actively using the drug, but when combined with the headline of "possibly exposed", it leads to disinformation that the reporter is not liable for because it was a random quote.

RIP to the maintenance men, and it would be unfair for me to speculate what happened, that said, this story has significant gaps making it unfair for anyone to speculate what happened.

 

Is this statement even true? There are various articles I've been reading that Houston's crime rate has risen in the last 2 years, something like a 90% higher than the national average.

 

We need to focus more on Ukraine and trans rights, there is no fentanyl or illegal immigration crisis... This is all far right propaganda.
