At age 79 of an undisclosed illness. An anchor of hugely popular Fleetwood Mac, she wrote the lyrics to several of their songs. Glad I got to see them numerous times. Rest in peace, girl. You've earned it.

This one saddens us old guys.

pretty sure she was killed by a Chevrolet EV.

Showed back up on my radar the last couple of months with "Everywhere" being used in those Chevy EV commercials. Sparked my teen kids' interest in Fleetwood Mac.

I've always thought she was criminally underrated. Fantastic voice and incredible lyricist.

    RIP

So weird trying to process the timing of this when that car commercial with that song is...cough...all over the place. RIP

Does this lead to a Nicks-Buckingham resolution and reunion? Or, the end of the band even?

Never really a fan of FM...but I do get their importance to the musical landscape. Thoughts to fans, family and friends. She was a talented artist.

I never appreciated how good a group Fleetwood Mac was until I was an adult and now they're probably one of my favorite groups of all time. I liked them as a kid, but damn, they grew on me to the point I love a lot of their songs as I got older. Hit after hit after hit.

she and Buckingham released an album together in 2017. it's basically FWM, but w/o Stevie. well worth seeking out.

    Buckingham/Mcvie.
