    No offense to Bruno Fernando but Ray Spalding is much better player and better system fit.

    And even he should not start over Sengun.




    And Spalding already has great chemistry with KPJ and KJ.

    Am I the only one reading the thread title as

    'The athletic Bruno fernando will start over Sengun when he returns'

    without the colon since Sengun has been called not athletic :)?

    Athleticism will fade as players get older, it's the savy big brain bbiq players that last longer.

    There's people in this thread who said that Fernando wasn't a lob threat, particularly from KPJ. I mean it's literally 50% of his FGAs.

    I'm ok with that.

    Better for the Rockets and better for Sengun.

    I feel if Sengun sat out two weeks.....we would see less congestion in the
    paint and the reads for Green/KPj would be clearer. Start winning more.

    yes exactly, Rockets would be in playoffs without Sengun this season. that was my expectation tbh.

    Anyone wanting to trade Alp is not a rockets fan. Period.
    He is arguably the best player on this team, you don’t trade that away this early in a rebuild.

    Fernando was his ideal use today. Very effective on limited minutes.

    He was bad on the last possession though. If Sengun missed those boards at the end of the game, he would not finish another game for the whole season.
