    KPJ gotta quit this half-commited help d's that does nothing but leave his man open. He had a great first quarter offensively, hope he keeps it up and fixes his defense.

    He wasnt great but 1) we switched way to often with Nix, Gordon, and Eason taking turns guarding Deandre and 2) he’s a small ball center. I wouldnt expect him to be able to check a legit big guy like Deandre

    Porter and Mathews over help and if leads to open 3’s and offensive rebounds. It’s been the constant of the last few mins.

    That’s the kind of shot I don’t like from Mathews. There’s no need to be so off balance. Gather yourself and go straight up. He wants to be a gunslinger and shoot while fading left, right or back. Make it easier on yourself and go straight up when possible.

    The last week’s worth of games have been very entertaining. We still make dumb, youthful mistakes but I can see the improvement.
