My evidence comes from next season when this team turns a corner. As of right now I am enjoying watching a ton of 19 and 20 years old improve. While reading your comical analysis and opinions. It’s ALL amusing.
Btw next season they're going to say you had no evidence, you were just guessing and there's no way anyone could have known. I think they just never sat down and practiced some acceptance with the tanking strategy. They started with suspicion so they'll carry that frequency of suspicion the rest of the way till they eventually have to laugh at themselves. It's just safer to be a pessimist and be surprised by anything else that might happen. Thank god we have these things to make us laugh and posters like you to bring some sense to the board. Imagine NOT being able to enjoy a rebuild with 7 draft picks in 2 years plus KPJ and KJ. Practically all of them are playing as long as they're healthy and learning from their mistakes. This roster can go in so many exciting directions but some people just can't appreciate it.
Green was absolute garbage last year until all-star break. Now he is on the fast track to become a super star.
There is a reason LeBron is going to be a top 3 all time player minimum. Green obviously isn't that. Maybe if he did the things he did at like 6'8" with like 40 more lbs added he would be that level of player. But his ceiling is still somewhere around Wade I would say. Ceiling key word.
Honestly kinda surprising I think apart from Wagner, Sengun and Green the rest of the ROY contenders last year have either regressed or shown minimal improvement. Who would have thought Sengun will improve enough in his 2nd year to reach the same BPM as Mobley? Everyone rags on Silas but considering 3 of our 4 guys have shown extreme improvement in just 1 year he must be doing something right.
LBJ has always been an once in a generation type players, basically in the same boat as players like Dream and Jordan.
Has anyone else noticed Green's win loss splits for the season? They are absurdly different. It's almost like the Rockets only win games when Green is literally playing like a all-NBA level player. Wins: 27ppg 5 apg 4 rpg 69% ts Loses: 20 ppg 4 apg 50% ts. That's a huge gap.
Now he knows what he needs to average next year to make the playoffs and dunk on D Greens face as he puts their dynasty to bed.
It is a huge gap, but just shows the inconsistency of youth. If he maintains that win average across a season, that's a top player and the league, and it's obviously doable or the numbers wouldn't be there in the first place. Exciting times ahead.
