They tried to let Green bring it up, OKC pounced and 3 turnovers in about 3 minutes later.....

@hakeem94 - while I share your enthusiasm for Alpi, I would really ask you to stop alleging racism and to tone it down a little with accusations and insults.

By going overboard, you are just making it easier for Sengun haters to attack anyone who speaks positively of him.

China/Taiwan/Japan/Australia may be but no one will employ Silas in Europe. I mean no serious team, of course he can find job in YMCAs.

Honestly it's simple. If this organization truly believes in KPJ as the PG and one of the two best players on a championship team, Sengun should be traded or benched to run the 2nd unit. I think the organization would be insane to think that. I think it's pretty clear they should see what an offense centered around Sengun and Green would look like, and make the others adjust as needed. The biggest difference in adjustments, when a teammate adjusts to Sengun, that just means more cuts and action off ball. Adjusting to iso KPJ is standing around the 3pt line...

Eason should definitely be in the convo. His upside is way higher than KJ’s. I’ll assume that Silas gives KJ the nod first, though.

None of the above is the correct answer. You look at every single game.

This is Jalen Green's 1st game playing point guard, it's practically his first basketball game in his career. 28 points, 9 assists on TO is absolutely fantastic for a 1st year, 1st game player.

    LOL.

"KPJ only played one year of PG. He's practically a rookie. Give him time and he'll be a star!"
"Green plays PG? Nah. They tried it yesterday. Didn't work."

He didn't play PG per se, he did try to bring it up a few times and failed like he does under pressure pretty much always, did you even watch the game? His assists were off of secondary actions some PnRs where he got the ball from KPJ mostly.....

So, were you crowing about the 10 assists that KPJ had the night before when we beat a playoff team and not some super short untalented OKC?

But in the future, I expect both KPJ and Green to bring it up, that is how Combo guards should work......

Alpi is way to soft on defense. Hell never be a star in this league cause he's simply too small. If he was only a foo taller and had a better shot he would be a great player in this league. But he's more suited for the European game as opposed to the American game.

Anyone alleging racism for Alpi criticisms is an idiot and should stop playing the race card.

A foot taller? You mean Alpi has to be 7'11 to be successful in the NBA?

    Maybe you're being sarcastic.

Not a foot taller, that would be too much. A foo taller. It's probably equivalent to 2 inches, acceptable.

    What secondary action?

KPJ bringing the ball past half court and passing it off doesn't suddenly mean he was the primary "action". That's just bringing the ball up.

Harden needed help with this as well, he frequently struggled with full court presses and often needed someone else to help him bring the ball up as well when this happens.

    This can't be understated.

While Green may or may not end up as one of the primary creators on offense, he needs a PG who can handle a press. There was a good example of this last game where he tried to bring the ball up the court two possessions in a row, but turned it over both times. Not to mention, you don't want him expending that wasted energy.

You know who currently leads the world in turnovers?

Do you still have KPJ and JG as equal prospects? Because a few short weeks ago you did... Let's not forget that.

The question has always been KPJ vs Sengun. Silas thinks KPJ should get the neon green light, and the offense should run through him. Whether Silas likes it or not, Sengun is here to take over. His talent will force KPJ and Silas to come to terms with the Sengod, or they will feel the wrath of Rafael's Stones.

It is simply a matter of time. Alperen Sengun will not be held back. Franchise pillar to build upon, along with JG and Jabari, and hopefully Tari Eason. KPJ must take a mature step back If he wants to be along for the ride. More Vernon, less Harden out of you, dude. To KPJ's credit, he took a small step back last night and let others create. A sign of maturation?
