You said KPJ comes down the court and hands it to Alp every time. Made it seem like there was some major discrepancy in front court possessions.
There’s not. KPJ has the overwhelming amount of total touches, is second on the team in usage. Very close to the leader.

Nothing about your statement was remotely correct. Unless you are saying 34 and 33 is a big difference.

 

How good was the defence tonight. Not counting Josh Christopher who only played 2 minutes. Sengun who had a great defensive game, had the worst defensive rating at 102.7...........that is still a very good rating defensively.

so if they played the same amount of minutes Sengun would still only be 1 extra touch in front on average?

so if Sengun played 9 extra minutes to equal Porter Jnr minutes, he wouldn't have any touches in those 9 minutes?

 

Logically that would be accurate. In reality it’s not.
There could be a case where when Alp is on the court he is getting to his spots and touches more frequently than if he was playing more minutes. Coaching or he knows he’s going to be limited so he or the coaches force the touches

 

You also have to take in to consideration that Sengun can get himself in to foul trouble quite easily, so at times he is his own worst enemy at playing less minutes

You know what, I was gonna talk about Sengun here but it really doenst matter.

KPJ gets mad at himself a lot during the games man, I see it a lot. He's also like ....22 man. If you think his turnovers are a problem fine, but like....it's not the only reason we lose ball games. His scoring efficiency is one big reason we lose a lot, like he's a bad scorer. I think his passing is actually the best on the team(actually second best after Sengun). But he cant really score so his opportunities for passing are always limited. Its why Jalen looks like a better creator(he is).

idk man...his teammates seem to like him? We are even playing more teamball this game. Which is why Im surprised you commented here. Yea he's done bad things in the past. But he's trying to change, and it doesnt seem like people hate him on the team.

And you know what besides all that, WE ARE TANKING. And another thing is.....he probably wont be here in the future. What's the reason to hate on him in a game we won?

What future important games will he impact if he is bad as you say he is. His contract was made in a way where we can move on from him if need be.

 

You’ll get no arguments from me there. He’s got a lot of improvement to do. That’s the enticing part to me.
Same with Green, Bari, Tari and even KPJ.

I disagree with Center being the most important defensive piece with the way the league is played.
In fact, the best and most impactful defenders are more perimeter oriented.
Center is important defensively to anchor, but it doesn’t matter if the rest of the team is bad as well

Defensive and offensive ratings are not personal stats, just like +/-. It tells you something is not working well with the 5s he is in, it might be the player himself or something else. In my opinion it is mainly perimeter defense. Bruno does no better defensively.

usage% has nothing to do with bringing the ball. That said, I think the main problem with KPJ is not how many times he touches the ball, but how long he holds on to it, and the low quality action he takes at the end, be it a low percentage shot, a bad turnover, or just passing it to someone else after killing the whole momentum.
