TyTy last night in 28 min: 31 pts, 4 dimes, 4 rebounds, 1 turnover TyTy is clearly showing he belongs in the NBA. Nix is on barrowed time and we aren’t trying to win this year. Sure, it’s frustrating that Silas is playing Nix similar minutes to a guy like Eason, but again, we are tanking so I have to keep reminding myself it’s not the end of the world. One thing to consider though, we don’t know who we are gonna draft. Why not figure out if you have a point/combo guard on the roster worth developing before we get to the offseason? Im gonna bet TyTy gets Nix’s minutes at least post allstar break, barring a miraculous Nix turnaround. But I wish I could be more confident in Silas’ judgement.
If TyTy continues to dominate in the g-league, he should be given a chance to take at least some of Nix's minutes.
Wow I was on the hype train lol I think Nix is going to get outplayed by Washington, the pick I considered a sin lol... Interesting to see the step backwards Christopher took too. This team needs Sterling Henderson.
If Nix has a better career than Johnny Flynn I will ban my children from playing basketball. Get rid of the man. At the very least he is not going to be on this team in the future once we actually acquire a competent point guard. I'm STILL legitimately in better shape than this dude and I haven't played since college 2 decades ago. He doesn't hustle either which just highlights his lack of effort. How do you try to make it in the NBA as a borderline player on the worst team in the league and not hustle? Edit. Don't even need to mention the lazy passes, bad shooting outside 3s which seem like the outliers, weak D.
TyTy over this guy any day. He doesn't even hustle. Literally the only thing he is halfway decent at seems to be 3-point shooting. He is slow, fat, seems to not have a great attitude, doesn't protect the ball well, makes dumbass decisions again and again, plays bad defense...why is this guy on the team. Probably my least liked player since Royce White or Terrence Williams or so.
He’s not decent at three point shooting….he got hot and is now dropping his percentage rapidly as the law of averages has caught up.
I haven't see this from Nix. Can you elaborate. Im just curious. are you perhaps lumping his lazy-ish play because he is fat as having a bad attitude? I agree Nix is not good, but I never thought his attitude was poor.
Tate needs to come back it will be hard for him to steal mins from KMJ and perhaps even Gordon , but nix should be sent back down when Tate comes back . I still want Tate to have a shot at getting a starting spot back . but he will have to prove he’s ready by coming off the bench first I think
