What is fake? Pelosi's injuries? his surgery? Why can't the world see the body cam footage? Is re-told the same as fake?!

No doubt... but after the police had entered. Seems like the police would have "disarmed" Pape immediately. Pape had ... nowhere ... to hide the hammer while standing in his underwear. Seems very fishy and there is little doubt that powerful San Franciscans like the Pelosi's are going to get favorable treatment when they need it. Nancy got her hair done at the height of COVID, remember?

He LED, as in escorted like a point man, the cops to the man who was the very reason he had called the cops. Who in their right mind would do that if they felt endangered. Would you? It just doesn't pass the smell test.... let's see the video! We see it often enough in other crimes; why not now?

Darn... just not favorable treatment enough to prevent getting his skull bashed in...

All the favorable consideration has come in the reporting after the fact... of getting his skull bashed.

It's very weird how it all came down. The officers didn't seem much bent on intervening to prevent a crime. Have they been punished for letting the attack occur in their presence? Seems like they just kind of strolled onto the scene very casually with little to no alarm or alertness-- doesn't seem like the way you would intercept an intruder. Sounds like the two were wrestling over control of a hammer; how long would it take two cops to tackle DePape?

You gotta admit that there is a lot of stuff that doesn't add up..

Yeah...I guess the crooked SFPD coerced a confession from the guy. After all, they didn't arrest Nancy for getting her hair done over 2 years ago, they could easily coerce a confession.

Ironic how they protected Nancy's head, but didn't do a damn thing for Paul's head.

Their house had like a ton of cameras and the security system mysteriously didn’t work

The attacker confessed. The victim had already had success acting calm and trying to talk the attacker down.

It makes total sense trying to continue the same tactic that already worked vs. Risking an octogenarian making a break for it.

None of us know what we'd actually do if we were in that situation.

Not passing your smell test isn't proof of diddly squat.

The attacker confessed. We have his words, his internet posting history, corroboration from those that knew him.

We also have a string of false and misleading proposals from people with an agenda to distract from the words the attacker spoke during his confession.

The writings or the confession of a crazed person mean NOTHING broadly. It's just a sicko mind out of control. Have you already forgotten all the convenient MAGA connections that rose up immediately?

Are you taking a stand here that important politicians don't get favorable treatment from local authorities? You've gone overboard with the "crooked" modifier.

Sounds like bad policework at the front door. They ask both to DROP the hammer instead of confiscating it.

I hear Nancy gets weak-kneed when hairspray is withheld.

I haven't forgotten them. Especially since they have some validity.

The writings and words of a mentally ill attacker do have a significance.

Yep..."important" people tend to get a lot of preferential treatment. "crooked" was clearly tongue in cheek. It's just odd that Pelosi (who got his skull cracked) got preferential treatment. Generally, when one gets preferential treatment, they don't end up in the ER.

Shouldn't - which is why the police should have some questions to answer. Once the guy could open the door for them, they should have started protecting him better, maybe?

Not nearly as long as it took 376 cops in Uvalde to shoot that one guy killing all those poor kids.

That would depend on to whom the modifier "preferred" refers. You seem to want to have me using it in reference to DePape-- no such thought.

How and to whom is that significance extrapolated?

Are you taking about important being in quotes? I quoted it because a lot of people get preferential treatment. Politicians, actors, singers, athletes, etc. It's arguable who is and isn't important when they get preferential treatment.
