Meyers, Lee, Diaz can all start in AAA.

Last report Rizzo was a top priority of the Astros and signed with the Yankees the next day. Anything can happen.

So can Hensley and Dubon, and several pitchers, if they need it.

Obviously Rizzo wanted to go back to NYY, and they wanted him...can't stop that (unless you throw out an overpay...)

Few night cap notes…complaining about delays/process of ordering WS championship gear is the type of complaints I could get used to reading. Astros have really lucked out in having a star Rookie performer every year since Springer. Who’s the guy in 2023? Brown? Diaz?

Good, shouldn't be difficult to find someone better/comparable.

[I forgot that's why we got him from SF in the first place]

Good. No sense in him being in the roster. Trade him for a PTBNL and I'll be happy. Hensely is much better option and Meyers should be healthy now and ready, if not trade for a guy that is ready to play CF at least part time.

I expect Dubon to be on the roster to start the season.... and no I don't love it either.

Dubon or someone like him makes perfect sense if they go heavy on 1B/DH/LF (Abreu/Yuli/Brantley/Bell/Contreras/Whoever). Gotta have someone on the bench to play multiple positions.

A guy who can play 2B/SS/LF/CF as the last man on the bench is a valuable guy. Just depends on if he'll be used like the last man on the bench.

Agree on both posts. If he gets more than 200 plate appearances he is overused (barring a bunch of injuries).

Yes, I forgot about Dubon's service time.
