Yall making this WAYYYY to complicated.

    It's EZ.

You cant ask 30-50 year old men and women to WORK HARD just because you spent a bunch of money. There is no reason for anyone to do anything unless they own a % of the company.

This isn't the Army - lulz.

Warzone 2 just came out. People wanna play. People have babies at home, they wanna raise them.

    WORK HARD!!!

    Lol, get ****ed.

The only people fixna work are H1B's with nowhere else to go. The immigrants are just grateful to be here. American's do not give a **** about making Elon's company work. If they had equity, if it was partially THEIR baby - different story.

Musk seems like a giant douchebag...With the way he's been acting since purchasing Twitter, who the hell would want to work long hard hours for him?

Has this always been his persona, or did it change in recent years?

Not too much of a surprise to people who were paying attention to Musks' words over the last several months. He's talked about the distinction between freedom of speech and freedom of reach before.

What counts as "negative/hate" tweets? Are people still going to complain about shadow banning of accounts that engage in it?

Would Trump's ego even allow him to leave Truth Social and come crawling back to Twitter?

Posting QAnon conspiracies and crying about the 2020 election/acting like a victim constantly on Twitter isn't gonna help his re-election chances. A lot of people don't see the nonsense he posts 60 times a day on TS.

Elon had a recent Tweet where he wrote "sickkk". Wrong number of K's.

Calling him an unempathetic psychopath = "defending him"?

Yes, these are great questions - and clearly, Elon had not thought these through when he came in with his approach.

Man could have created his own site for a cheaper price.

That way if he fks it up he can cut his loss. 44 billion and it sounds like the death knell of twitter with all the stories being put out on the media

I'm not sure why people were hung up on Twitter dying on Thurs night like there was some planned outage.

But leaving employers aren't wrong to speculate that the next P0/SEV2 (unsure how Twitter classifies support incidents) might last quite a while. Especially because most companies engineers are on-call outside of work hours (on Twitter thread mentioned they had a 24/7 network operations center or some sort of team similar to that), the remaining engineers are going to burn out if the stability issues cascade.

Elon could have gracefully handled these layoffs and have sent way better messaging, so I'm still not seeing how this wasn't maliciousness on his part to intentionally tank the company (I don't know the motive or care to speculate).

In history, in any authoritarian take over, the playbook is to attack the intelligentsia as the rotten core of society. Attack them as the ones who want to censor speech and thinking. Attack them as bringing about the downfall of society. Authoritarians from Mao to Stalin to Putin all depend on vilifying the existing media, university, and arts structure. In nearly all those cases, once they do seize power, the first thing they do is imprison and/or even execute intelligentsia en masse.

This is a game this guy is playing a part in. And whether you realize it or not, it's a really dark one.

This is going about as well as getting drunk and marrying a stripper in Vegas.

Hope all the “likes” by the fanbois were worth it.

It just feels like a "burn the 40yr old factory building for insurance money after overpaying for it" kind of situation. Hats if if he recoups his investment and maintain Tesla cap in five years...

He is definitely grabbing attention, but trolling "outrage libs" will not end well for Tesla, which had a lot of good will built up among its snobby elitists.

Maybe he bio hacked himself a wee too much?
