Makes sense. He needs development and won't get it in the NBA. Hopefully his G-League coach rides his ass developing what he needs to work on.

JGup and Garuba have switched minutes and hype this year from last.

I don’t think rgv will help much. He doesn’t lack some particular skill badly, rather he is only focused on scoring and missing some fundamentals of the game. He needs coaching and maybe learn from vets, which we don’t have.

Despite last night's win and the resurgence of Garrison Mathews, it is still unacceptable that both Mathews and Nix continue to get more minutes than Josh Christopher. We cannot say he's playing badly because he simply hasn't played enough minutes this season to be properly evaluated (only around 7 min per game). Nix and Mathews are undrafted G-League development prospects while Christopher is a first-round draft pick, so I'm confused as to why Nix and Mathews' development is prioritized over Christopher's. I also think Christopher is a flat-out better defender and scorer than both of them. Reporters should ask Silas this question every time they get an opportunity, "Why is Josh Christopher buried on the bench?"

Jaygup could let this season pass and see if the team needs him, go from there.

Feels like he's a sweetener in a EG trade at this point.

We have 4 rookies from 2021 and we can't pay them all.

No. Let’s give all his minutes to Nix and Matthews.

    Operative word:: NO!

    Play JGup!

Give him a shot. Can't be worse than Nix

It is crazy to me that Nix is getting minutes when Josh showed more last year in the league than Nix has ever shown. I just can't see any justification for it at this point.

It makes no sense outside of our brain dead coach. He's fat too. Embarrassing. JC legit has talent. Nix belongs at Sea World

JC is garbage. Dude is literally lost out there every game. Never liked the pick to begin with

I predicted JC would be bad to start the season. You can tell so much about a player just by the vibe in preseason and media appearances.
Last year the big turn-offs for me were D.House with his rants and his rap album and Jalen Green with his schoolgirl giggles about fashion.
This year the red flag was Josh with whatever the hell he was doing, was it NFTs or some other BS I don’t even remember. Uh-oh!

The thing is, this league is mostly for hoops junkies who eat, drink, breathe basketball. Sometimes the distractions when you’re 20 year-old millionaire are too much and will knock you off your path.

I like Jabari and Eason, I think these dudes got it, knock on wood.

He's not garbage. You didn't like a late first round pick? You like KPJ though lol

Yeah it's really kind of sad how absolutely worthless he is. I had hoped that he could at least be a bench quality player but it doesn't seem to be in the cards for him.

Yeah man, he’s not gonna be around long. I think he needs to go back to the G League, unfortunately

I’d be fine with him taking all of the minutes given to Nix. I’d also be ok with him going to G league to get major min.

Seems to be confused as to what we need and want from him. I still think he has a pretty legit NBA future.

Some G League time seems to have helped Washington.... but I'm not sure Christopher will ever figure it out. He lacks BBIQ and top tier talent. I think he's designed to be one of those players who are too good for the G League but not good enough for the NBA.

Agreed!! I’ve always said he has a very low IQ. Fans get attached to every draft pick, but we gotta be real. It’s crazy how some think he’s a good defender bc it’s just not true, I trust Mathews defensively more than him. He’s just lost on the floor and his outside shooting has regressed big time when it wasn’t good to begin with.

When Gordon is traded he gets next man up status.
