Tari needs at least 25 minutes a night to see his true game.

Eason needs to start but I'm afraid the lack of spacing would hurt Green, Sengun and etc. Gordon is selfish but at least provides that.

had to make that a little more family-friendly lol

(didn't even know that was a Ted Lasso reference -- shame on me!)

Love his enthusiasm but the scouting report about him existing on hustle is true. He's gotta slow down and play smarter instead of working so hard. Very obvious when he reaches the end of his endurance. He's a damned tornado though.

Some credit to this BBS; pre-draft, after the top 3

... lot of posters here wanted Eason with the next Rockets pick. We just didn't know if he was still available by then.

Eason is shooting 41% on 3's. No spacing issue there.

Plus, Gordon is playing no defense at all and has 0 hustle. Whatever he's giving on offense, we're losing it on the defensive side. If Gordon's spacing is giving us an extra 2-4 points, I guarantee he's giving up on plays that are costing more points than that. At least 3-4 times a game he does that. At this point, I'm willing to give up spacing and even start Tate over Gordon but Tate is out for another 2 weeks.

Eason is not ready to start just because there are too many other youngsters in the starting line up and they're compounding each other's issues, getting in the way of each others' development. I think he'll start for a stretch at some point later this season. There's no reason to rush his development, he's getting 18 minutes per game already and that's going to gradually increase.

Eason's defense - not the effort, but the positioning - still needs some work. Perfect time and place for him to work on that. Hell of a prospect.

tho his games still a WIP, but it reminds me many big names at their early stage, a mix bag those, and i think that what makes him so so unique:
defense (also poker face) - Claw
3ball shooting mechanism n euro step - (a better version of) Corey Brewer
bball iq / steals / court running - Jerami Grant / RoCo
body frame, slam dunks / alleyoops- Jamain O'neal-esque
second chances n finishing around the rim - Carl Landry

I have no idea why he wasn’t a lottery pick in the draft. Maybe someone can explain me why.

except creating his own shot, I don’t see much of a weakness in his game.

Most didn't think he would be able to get his shot off at the NBA level. He gets by on sheer aggression at times, and many didn't think that would fly against NBA players.

Also, teams love centers. Thank you goes out to OKC, Washington, Charlotte, and Cleveland for drafting Davis, Dieng, Williams, and Agbaji.

Last night he was - too bad to ignore.

1-9 is Jabari Smith level finishing.

Keep him away from athletic shot blocking 5s

I said in another thread that this was my biggest fear with the signing of Brooks. That Brooks' minutes would eat into time that Tari would have on the court. This kid can be special, especially if his 3pt shot is more consistent. We have sooooo much talent on the wings that it's going to be hard to find time to give them all their shine.

TBH, I hope we trade KPJ and have Brooks get minutes at backup SG, to free up minutes for Tari at SF.
