Of course there was talk of dysfunction in the Astros front office…. James Click proceeded to rip Crane endlessly in front of the GM’s
Love how these people from other cities circling around Astros organization spewing sh*t hoping something sticks. They don't know sht.
Was just about to post that the word was Click was jawing a lot about Crane and it of course got back to Crane. He did himself no favors and that’s not a good look.
Exactly The FO, players and an entire city and fan base went through nearly three years of being called cheaters AND we still persevered to win a World Series so this shiit is a blip on the radar, get fuucking real
Crane doesn’t look good offering his GM a one year deal (with a 50% raise) but Click openly running his mouth while representing the Astros at the GM meetings looks really unprofessional and like he cannot control his emotions.. not good for a GM.
This is completely not important, but wasn’t Peña supposed to be on Jimmy Fallon? Haven’t seen anything yet.
It's wierd because it sounds similar to last year. He said he was close to signing with Toronto and assumed Houston was no longer interested because he didn't hear anything from them in a while and all of a sudden he hears back from them last minute. Houston had a similar or better offer so he ended up choosing them over Toronto. *just googled the story. Maybe I shouldn't say Verlander didn't hear back from them. But he said as negotiations started, Houston fell off. Does he mean, they were in contact but offers were bad compared to others ?
