ClutchFans Game Thread: Clippers @ Rockets 11/14/2022

Just a good encapsulation of the trials of a young team:

- Jalen tries to work the clock to give the Rockets a two-for-one
- Shoots too early, and apparently before he could even set up for a proper shot judging by the way it clanged off the rim
- Eason, not knowing the situation or the player he's guarding, concedes an open 3 to George, giving the Clippers not only more points but another chance at a possession before the half.

 

Can’t hit 3s, can’t play defense, and we have more turnovers than assists.

He tried to do that early in the season and they still wouldn't call a foul. ref can call a foul on every drive. they choose not to.

At the game. Silas doesn’t draw up plays. He just stalks the sidelines with his arms crossed.

As concerning as Jabaris inability to score is, the fact that he's not able to stay up on Marcus Morris is not great.

We are truly the worst team in the NBA. Porter is not playing any type of Team Basketball. Porter is hurting Jabari and Jalen growth. We need a young point guard

 

yawn...same **** different game...jabari barely getting the ball...no offensive system...just players running around doing nothing....this team has become boring to watch....stephen silas and kpj both need to go...stone says priority is to develop players? how? by having them develop bad habits? Gunna stunt jalen and jabaris development

 

The refs don't respect him, no argument there. As his profile rises he'll get those calls. I want him to get into the habit and to get a little stronger.

 

Honestly we need to change coach this year and trade Porter

Yea the end of the quarter sucked. Those are the kinds of mistakes I don't like but I can actually understand from a young team.

 

How hard is it to move the damn ball? The only thing we do is set a screen and hope the guard creates something. KMJ-Tari-Garuba usually moves the ball better, but they were paired with JC who kept the ball to himself.

I am also wondering if they ever talk about the turnovers.
