Malick Badiane Sighting

    Malick was at the Galleria on Saturday around 5 pm. I probably wouldn't have noticed him if he wasn't so tall. He was wearing a rockets shirt and shopping at Champ's for tall tees and had two mall security guards with him. It was funny because I overheard the security guards talking, saying they didn't even need to walk with him because nobody knew who he was. I think I was the only person who recognized him because no one else in the store gave him a second glance.

    ooohh, I saw him too.

    He was in the food court walking when I spotted him. Wasn't easy to miss.....6'11 and Looooonnnggg

    Sorry no pic. I don't bring a camera with me to go shopping. He still needs to add alot more weight though. My gf asked me what position he plays and when i told her PF she was like "What?! He's way too skinny."

    Heh. If the Badman ever joins the team, during home games, the Rockets organization should hand out thousands of signs that just say, "Malick Badiane?"

    I saw Clyde Drexler at the gym yesterday. Also there was this dude benching 7 plates on each side :eek: - no joke.

    I saw Malik after he had worked out at Toyota center. It was the day of TMac's welcome.

    He was VERY standoffish, but I asked him if he would be playing soon. He said, "I hope so they haven't told me yet." and walked away.

    Sorry no pics;)

    I kinda forgot about it cuz after that TMac came out for his workout.:)

    This guy has developed legend status on this board. For a second round pick, you'd think he was the second coming of Olajuwaon. If he never plays in the NBA, he may be remembered here as the best player never to put on a uniform. :D

    ohh ok thats right. I remember at the TMAC welcome there was a really tall black guy sitting on the side. He looked like he had just gotten through working out. Everyone was wondering who he was, cause he stood out alot. I guess now I know...

    A plate = 45 lbs weight (Standard)

    14 x 45=630lbs + 45 lbs for the lifting bar= a lot of freaking weight

    A few weeks ago, I saw Posey and Van Exel in the Galleria without any security. They were just hanging out watching the water sprout in front of Foleys.
