The Astros had Bo Porter for their down years and that's what Silas is in there for now. His job is to keep the team going while tanking to get as much young talent the Rockets can manage. He won't be the coach to take the Rockets back to the playoffs by any means and if the Rockets do get another top 3 pick this year he'll most likely be gone before next season.

Don't get me wrong....I don't think Silas is the long-term answer, but he can't play the game for the players. And you want to go all "Cancel-culture"? How about YOU take a break from the Rockets until you feel better, and leave the rest of us to handle in our own ways.

I have a feeling other coaches would be benching KPJ and Sengun even more and Clutchfans would be losing its collective mind. This roster is broken. Silas doesn't seem to be adding anything tangible as coach but I think shuffling coaches is shuffling deck chairs right now.

I've been considering getting league pass this year, tired of the pirate streams... They all suck, some of them even want you to make a subscription and pay them for high quality... The only thing keeping me from getting league pass is my boycott of Silas....

I haven't spent a dollar on Rockets merch or tickets since Tilman came on board (semi-coincidentally). Look at the huge impact I'm having.

 

This team is full of young, raw, talented players and their developmental years are crucial for their future. Silas tenure is reminding me of Rudy T after he had mentally checked out and was letting Francis play street ball, it really set Francis back and derailed his career IMO. Difference is Rudy was a great coach that was burned out, Silas is just in way over his head. This needs to get fixed.

 

League Pass is cheaper than ever, and virtually every Rocket game will be on LP. Don't let principle stand in the way of entertainment
