It's Sci-Fi-ish, but I like that...Has anyone seen it? What do yall think about it, and would you feel weird getting hooked with your former girl's grandchild, if you were propelled in the future?

I think it's pretty interesting. Some of the stuff (Black guy ending up with the granddaughter and the guy trying to 'heal' his friend) were predicable. I'll keep watching.

I haven't seen a 10 hour mini-series since "The Stand." But it kind of sucks that this one will be 5 weeks instead of 5 days. Oh well, I can watch it and The Dead Zone back to back.

Okay, I hear you..."Give a few details, dammit!"

The premise is 4400 people have suddenly arrived here from out of nowhere, and in prior years, these people were just assumed to be vanished or disappeared from unknown reasons...The years have been all over...one man from the 1970's...One from the 50's...A lady from the 90's...A little girl from the early 1930's...The story seems to focus on 5 or 6 abductees

Something is different about these people, and they seem to have "mutant-like" powers...It's pretty interesting...Other than that, they don't perceive any change of time, but picking back up where they left off is obviously difficult...

The Dept. of Homeland Security is monitoring these people and a male and female investigator seems ripe for a potential relationship in all this...The male investigator has a stake in this since his nephew is one of the abductees...

I recommend it for those who like Sci-Fi type stuff...

It ran this past Sunday on USA network...Chances are you can still catch the first showing of this series sometime before the next one....

I caught the end of it. It's ok, it seems like it belongs on the Sci Fi channel. And I just hope that they get original with these mutant powers people have. That one kid who was sucking the life out of another kid was so Rogue from Xmen.

My wife noticed the X-Men ripoffs, too, but we watched it and will probably finish it even.

Ok. I'm making my predictions about where this story is going to go. Never watched an episode but saw the preview.

    >All these people return as genetic mutants
    >They'll be poked and prodded by the investigators for their story
    >Small flashbacks occur but nothing will be clear.
    >Everyone will try to destroy them or treat them differently
    >A catacylsmic event will occur
    > only 4400 people will survive. Everyone else dies.
    >The mutant genes are perfect for survival.
    >They learn that an alien race prepared them for the disaster.

There you go. Wrap it up and return to sender. Hopes it a good one. I may pick it up to see if I'm right.

I liked it. I actually thought it was gonna be on Sci-Fi but remembered. Even though most were not allowed to say they were one of the 4400, everyone seemed to know that kid at the high school was one of them. I'm sure in real life the media would be all over him.

But I'm sure in real life ,this would never happen..............or would it?
