Outside of Vic and Scoot, Anthony Black at Arkansas is who I have my eye on to potentially trade down or use the nets pick for.

    6’7 Facilitating PG.

How he plays next to Nick Smith Jr this year should give us an idea of his potential fit next to Jalen Green.

"Nets pick" is only a swap this year.

Jackson was considered by a lot of people to be the #1 player in the 2023 class before he reclassified.

Amen had 4 TOs with his 7 Ast this game, a bit KPJ-esque if you ask me ;). But I agree he's a very creative playmaker.

There are a bunch of other Freshman that could be on the back-end of this early list, but I'm leaving them off until we get a bigger sample size.

Unfortunately we haven't gotten to see Whitmore, Whitehead, Smith Jr. or Baba Miller hit the floor yet, so they mostly stayed in place.

I've liked what I've seen from Keyonte George, he's shown off his PG skills on a Guard-heavy Baylor team, which helps his stock. Jarace Walker is a beast, as expected, I wouldn't be surprised if he was actually in the 240 range. GG Jackson and Brandon Miller were expected to be freak athletes at the 4 spot, but both have shown some skill/range so far. Both still have a ways to go, but the tools are definitely there.

Kel'el Ware and Dereck Lively haven't burst on the scene yet, with fewer touches/minutes than I expected. Lively's PT will increase since he was returning from an injury. Anthony Black has been disappointing in his two games, with Ricky Council taking over lead G duties for them (and NSJ hasn't even returned either).

Either way, it's early as hell. And we're still in the lead for the Wemby sweepstakes, so all is well.
