    15/10 is mid? It seems like averaging a double double while player lockdown D would make him better than mid. There are only one or two guys who will average 20 or more on a given team.

    Right, thought so as well, now the hierarchy of touches does not allow him or Tari to average 20, not with the Scoot brothers and Sengun all scoring the ball.

    If Lamarcus Aldridge can be an All-Star, so can Jabari.

    Allstar reserves do not mean as much as in the past.

    Last year 2 or 3 players got injured, all their substitutes got called 'All Star' now.

    Giannis was starving in Greece literally broke.

    Jabari Smith was a college star.

    It’s been documented in his college career and in draft scouting reports that he can’t finish in the paint and lacks that one on one ability to get to the paint. That being said he could improve his handles and aggressiveness getting into the paint but he likely would never be elite level since that was never part of his game. He could be an elite shooter and defender and that’s all we ask for. If he can do those 2 things, tighten up the handles and finish at the rim he will be a very solid player.

    Yeah I also see his future shooting 3s, that part is right.

    I do not see him as an elite paint finisher in traffic, a roller though.

    interesting because he looks lost out there. He isn’t getting the ball in the post. He is often too close to a wing player. He isn’t cutting. I think part of it is he is used to being the man and he isn’t here with KPJ hogging the ball. KPJ and Green need to find a balance and involve him in the offense more. Hopefully they will work out these kinks.

    Yeah I don’t expect him to break down people one on one but I do expect a competent enough level to drive to the paint when he has the lane and finish even with defenders camped in there. He needs to find other shots like floaters or use his body more. These things he can work on. But he will never be elite level in that department

    Maybe he can be a hybrid SF/PF/C.

    No I think the worst shooter on the team should hit more of his shots if he's going to jack up so many

    You just can't make any conclusions about a player this early in their careers.

    "four" = guy who's averaging 11 shots a night.

    Do you actually know who we're talking about? I'm talking about Jabari Smith Jr.

    Are you talking about Jabari Parker? The Rockets might actually be better off with him taking shots these days - he might be available.

    Yes. He's averaging 11 a night. Because his first several games they were getting him the ball. Getting him involved. Ever since the Utah game it's been declining. He went at Jalen for whatever reason and it hasn't been the same since between them two. Hopefully it changes soon.

    Since the Utah game he's averaging 9 FGA and shooting a sub-human 13-53 - 24%.

    That's just awful .

    Basically your whole truck is how he "only" had 4 FGA two nights ago as part of his 3 point 1 rebound 3 turnover 4 foul 22 minute **** show on Monday.

    Meanwhile his replacements Martin and Eason were both awesome.

    You're mad he didn't play more/have some TMZ agenda. Cool for you!.

    I'm glad he didn't because he was bad and it was nice to watch the Rockets actually win a game

    Jabari has actually shot the ball more than Sengun per game.

    Jabari = 10.9 shots
    Sengun = 10.8 shots

    So he’s getting enough shots right now. Evan Mobley, Deandre Ayton and even Cristian Woods are all averaging around 10-11 shots as well this season. For a rookie that is shooting 30.2% I don’t think you want him taking more until it starts to go in.
