Imagine if the rest of our games go that way and we barely lose to the playoff teams and still end with a bottom 3 record.

I think everyone could live with that scenario.

We can still keep Gordon and give minutes to either KJ or Tari. If we traded Gordon, we'd still have one win.

    Gordon
    Green
    KJ or Tari
    Smith
    Sengun

    6th man KPJ

I get it and I know why people hate tanking and losing culture.

But we're talking about the Rockets last shot where we can actually somewhat control the chance at a generational talent to add to this team.

    In a perfect world:

    1) Nets collapse and also add to the lottery odds for the Rockets

    2) The players show improvement

    3) We hit lottery and draft Wemby or Scoot

    4) We fire Silas and hire a good young coach

    5) We become a young dynasty and scoff at losing

    6) We win multiple championships and laugh about those 3 measly years we had to be bad just like the Astros did

After this year, it literally would be illogical to be bad or lose games purposely.

So no need to worry about us "pro tankers" too much longer

    https://www.nba.com/news/2022-23-schedule-release-breakdown

Strength of schedule is definitely at play with Houston having one of the harder SOS in terms of first 20 in the WC. Toughest point hasn't even gotten here yet as Houston garnered the "toughest 5 game stretch of the season" at the time this article was written from Nov 28 - Dec 5:

Yes, and sometimes a puzzle wrapped within an enigma.

Jalen Green facing Suggs, Wagner, Ross, was less challenging defensively than Malik Beasley,
Mikal Bridges, Paul George, Anthony Edwards, Taurean Prince.

I've stressed taking the path of least resistance on offense. Some days it's Green some days it's Sengun, some days I need KPj to be the guy.

    If all goes well....everyone eats.

I think alley oops are better than 3 pointers.

Same goes for chase down blocks.

Yep, for those who watched the game....announcers
mentioned how the Magic started an all 6'10" or greater
lineup with the exception of Suggs.

Our 3-pt shooters feasted on guys not very good at
closing out on 3-pt shooters. BolBol did get KPj or Green
once (fingertip block) from way out. Left KPj or Green just shaking
    their head and smiling.

I don't recall Magic using that MonStars lineup much in the
2nd half. Raptors have an abundance of 6'8" guys.
And trap at half court.....let's see how the Rockets adapt.

    Revenge game from preseason
