Not on the ballot AND the Astros didn't have a bad start but this young man gets my vote!!!! Hoping one of the kids on the ballot (Rockets) takes notice and grabs the bull by the horns!! Go Rockets!!!!!!!! Go Stros!!!!!!!!!!! ....... ....... .......
Sengun for sure is #1. He looks like the only player on the team who's actually improved from last year, and looks like a future guaranteed 20/10 guy. Eason #2. Already a great role player but unfortunately we don't have a coach who realizes it.
I chose Garuba - not because he's the best or most exciting player out there, but because going into the preseason I sincerely thought that he was not even worth picking up a third year option on, so he's been the main guy proving me wrong. He's clearly going to be a quality NBA big, and has been basically our best defender. I already had high expectations for Tari and Sengun so they haven't generated much surprise happiness, but they've been great.
Sengün, Eason, and Garuba's progress. It's early and I think Porter, Green, and Jabari will improve during and towards the end of the season as last year, being a 19-year-old rookie and the other two growing into bigger roles.
Sengun has been the bright spot. Martin Jr. has definitely improved his game. Garuba is improving KP and JG have been a little disappointing as i was hoping to see more improvement Eason has been the most impressive rookie Smith will get there but so far he's played ehhh ok.
Sengün pretty easily, he’s developing just as I hope he would. Just wish he could stay out of foul trouble and pick it up a bit on defense, but I also understand that’s a flaw of his you have to deal with since he’s a bit slow footed and not very athletic. Regardless hopefully he can pick it up on that end
Any coincidence all Sengun disliking Garuba fans type "segun" instead of his name? i mean it is not even a meaningful thing to call someone according to, I have seen this like 100 times on twitter and here, that's why I was curious.
Not voting. This team is trash top to bottom so far and nobody deserves praise for being the least trash.
Misspelling are due to differences of Turkish and english phonetics. People just write it translating what they hear to written language. I have my name regularly misspelled exactly in the same way, even by people who know how it is spelled.
I am happiest with everyone on the Astros' rosters. Oh, you are talking about the Rockets. Does Ryan Hollins counts? He made me to switch the channel to hear the opposing team broadcaster and made me appreciate them. I have never appreciate them until this year.
This is so ****ing shitshow the only thing Im happy with is we still loosing because that means Silas is gone soon
Edited for you, no worries. Don't sweat the small stuff, but Alperen has clearly been the biggest bright spot so far, and Garuba is also showing signs of development.
Sengun obviously played in the Summer, and he shows improvement, the other younger non rookies, it is very obvious they did not put in the work in the off season, maybe send a message that no one is safe at all-star break, cut ties with Silas, and do it in a way so that it is a wake up call to everyone including Green. If they are getting blown out, I would fire him mid game and ask him not to come back. KJM may have put in some work to get traded, but give them until all-star break and the culture will need to change.
Most impressed by Garuba He's just been so good for someone that I had very little expectations for. Alpi is close 2nd but i expected him to be real good so it's not as surprising
Technically yes these are turnovers, but there's been 5 or 6 unforced turnovers from traveling tonight. I'm for letting those go.
I'm happiest with Silas who has taken the star role of Commodore General Private First Class Special Officer Doofy Tank Commander who has reported for and gone above the call of doody. Ratatouille cooking up a French invasion. Yall better like baguettes, faguettes, female armpit hair and a permanent cloud of cigarette smoke. This time next year, we are lay miserablehs no more
