I'm so proud of this team. They represent this city very well and everyone on that team is a stand up guy and you can't help but love them. Congrats to the Stros and to everyone who roots for the Astros worldwide.

More useless rambling. Last year Papa Snitker won the World Series and now Troy Snitker gets his. Although Maton didn't pitch, his brother might have gotten a hit off of him but he gets the last laugh. Awkward Thanksgiving or Christmas gathering???
A hat, a book, a pin set, a pennant, key chain and a patch. Wanted to get a shirt and the better pin set but had to pass. The cost of duties and tax to Canada was a killer. Honestly all my 2017 is in a box collecting dust so had to think about that. Oh, also bought some baseball cards. The Topps Now championship card set of 15 and 1 mystery auto. I can always buy more if things are still available. As long as I spend $100, shipping to Canada will be free.

What a ****ing year. Verlander’s dominance, Framber’s growth, Peña stepping up and having an absolutely legendary postseason/winning Gold Glove and making such an amazing adjustment at the plate later in the season. Bregman getting back to form, Tuck and Yordan being absolute machines. Maldy handling the most dominate pitching staff I’ve ever seen and playing hurt for almost half the year. Jose Altuve- still the heart of this team. This is just such a wonderful feeling. After the cheating scandal BS… this win just feels so good. Haters are mad. We in Houston, knew all along how great this team is and this core group of guys are. Dusty Baker got his WS win. 2022 is a year and a baseball season we will all remember for the rest of our lives. Absolutely ELITE pitching, defense, and our hitters stepping up when needed most. WORLD CHAMPIONS BABY!!!!
So many great moments too. It's even more satisfying when the moments stack. Right down to the McCormick imprint in the Centerfield warning track. That is just awesome.
