I used to sit there livid and question why the only racism pov and inclusivity are toward or for the loudest groups of minorities? Blacks and Asians speak up and they get superhero franchises and male sex icons banging beautiful white and latin women all over tv. Latinos are the largest minority and make up the least amount of representation in Hollywood-mass media and majority of what we see of ourselves is illegals, cartel, creeps, rapists and murderers and beta comedic relief at own own expense. Media throws small bones here and there. It's not fair! They don't see how much influence mass media has on warping perception of our people! They're marketing us as lesser than and it's rubbing off in every day society! Dating a brown man isn't so hot right now. I totally get what you are saying. Isn't there a school of thoughts that racism comes from power, and racism coming from people at the bottom of the social totem pole is not nearly as powerful from those at the top. If I think about this from a black person's perspective, especially a black athlete. Jewish people hold many powerful positions within sports and entertainment, the biggest agencies like WME, CAA have jewish owners, record companies, many owners of sports teams. On top of that, the lawyers they hire, the financial advisors they hire might also have jewish roots. These athletes who mostly likely grew up with poor/modest upbringings essentially went through their career having to answer to wealthy Jewish people that control many aspects of their lives. I can totally see why a lot of NBA athletes would have some kind of negative sentiment towards Jewish people. The reaction now only reinforces their idea that Jewish conspiracy exists. I think to them, holocaust was a long time ago. These black people grew up seeing other blacks being oppressed both socially and economically, while Jewish people flourish and hold positions of power all over the place. It's easy to see why they couldn't give two ***** about anti-semitism. I think the radio silence we hear from the players probably just means that a lot of them do somewhat agree with Kyrie. I also think the reason why a black owned talent agency like Klutch has been so successful is partly due to NBA players not wanting to deal with a white or jewish dominated industry

I'm not a history buff, but in Germany if you talk about the holocausts or even whisper "Nazi" you're probably going to jail. We agreed we are never going to forget the atrocities of the holocaust. Jewish people may have experienced racism, but their accent into relative affluence wasn't impeded like other black people in this country. Nobody is ever going to say "the holocausts was a long time ago get over it" like they do slavery. Black people know what it takes to be successful but the USA is not having that: The end of Reconstruction, the bombing of Black wall street, Jim crow, redlining plus no access to loans, stripping us of voting rights. It goes on and on. And this is just the stuff we know-ish. There is plenty of history they dont teach us in school and are trying to bury. The USA has had an active part in stopping the accession of black people. This is not a "just learn from them" type of situation.
