    Ehh... Montero has gotten it done, but that well might be running dry. Don't need another overused reliever situation. I'd prefer to not see him in the 8th again honestly.

    stanek walks too many. That’s why he isn’t a high leverage option. That’s not changing. Especially not for Montero.

    well they aren’t machines. You throw your best and hope they have a good day. Montero is much more likely to have a good day than Stanek. Period.

    Montero last night 8th inning. 3 up, 3 down.

    Game 2, got 5 outs in 7th and 8th.

    Game 1, 8th inning 3 up, 3 down.

    ALCS, game 4, 8th inning, 3 up, 3 down.

    game 3, 8th inning, 1 up, 1 down.

    game 1, 8th inning, got 2 outs, but gave up 2 hits including HR

    ALDS

    game 3, 8th inning, 4 up, 3 down

    game 2, 7th and 8th inning got 4 outs (walked 2)

    game 1, 9th inning, 3 up 3 down.

    What more do you guys want?????

    Let's not forget the Pena snag of the liner in the 3rd. When JV was still really scuffling. That would have been 2 on, 1 out.

    I called for Abreu to continue pitching.

    And that was the right call. He is untouchable right now. 37 outings, 2 runs given up.

    Dusty really screwed up and it almost cost him.

    I mean 1st and 3rd one out and it's already just a 3-2 lead and you finally yank him? Dusty what are you doing? Luckily Pressly bailed your ass out.

    It was just all very stupid.

    And yes I called for Abreu before the inning started.
