In progress, Yao started out going maybe 40%, missing free throws, doing his little arms straight up as the guy drives right into me, move. Rebounding at about half energy, passing out of double teams was good, as its obvious yao knows this game is more important for other players like Yi who he threw and alley out of the post up position to. Bateer, who some ppl here think should be our backup 5 is a slow bruiser who has a decent turnaround J, and little spin baseline but no explosiveness at all. Hes got a little mean streak it seems yao picked up too. Both centers got in a semi altercation w/ this white dude, and yao actually threw a few elbows while fighting for position which is good. It seems to have woken yao up now as he has begun spinning and scoring at will as i am typing this. Yi is an interesting player as he is active but inexperienced as he on two occasions ran back on defense w/o noticing the opposing gaurd go coast to coast on the team. He can jump, not as explosive as garnett but best I've seen out of an asian big man. He missed two nice alley oop tries, was fouled on one. He can pass decently, but i havent seen much else from him.
Look how serious Yao's face was. Kinda reminds me of Kramer in Sienfeld beating up bunch of 10 years in his karate class. Shame on you big fellow.
I bet #10 wouldnt be able to swipe Yao's ball even if he jumped. What Yao was doing that post move for. It looked smooth though.
