The difference between this time is we are not facing two other great pitchers, they had their own matching pitchers.

The winner of tonight's game likely wins the series. No pressure. It is going to be tough for either team to win both games in Houston. Remember last year. This is it.

This is clearly the biggest matchup advantage on paper but I like our chances in every potential game.

I'd rather see Hensley at DH, but I also understand putting someone other than Alvarez out there to catch fly balls for Verlander. Especially after Alvarez took the heater right to the hip... I am sure that will slow him down a bit. I was kind of surprised he didn't make it home on Bregman's long double yesterday.

Had to go back and see what prompted this post.

1,200 lbs of men spread out over 4 guys sounds?

    Offputting
    Painful
    Disgusting

    and yet somehow interesting.

That guy was great, that's what you want from a fan during this type of game, and he never really said anything too outrages.

Yeah I could not understand why they kept acting like that was some great catch, it looked pretty routine even on tv.

I'm listening to legendary MN Sportscaster Mark Rosen say for Verlander this is a Jack Morris type moment. That how he does tonight this will define his legacy.

I'm not sure about that. While he individually hasn't won a WS game he does have a couple of rings and a few Cy Youngs. Win or lose tonight I think his spot in Cooperstown is guaranteed.

I agree that the winner tonight has a better chance. It's around 30% for the team that goes down 3-2, but if the team that is down 3-2 is going back home it's upped to about 40%. It won't be quite as dire for us, but I'd love to win tonight.

Nothing great about an authentic cheese steak you can get better or comparable in any major city.

Don't get me wrong I love a good cheesesteak but it does not take much to make a good or great one, it's a pretty simple sandwich as long as you have quality ingredients.

Maybe even Baker sees the writing on the wall with Diaz and Mancini. Good for Hensley!
