id like someone that need not be thrown a soup at to notice your playmaking abilities and award you for playing hard.... or at least throwing a soup at him will not be enough to overlook your vices as a basketball player...
I just want someone who's going to call a timeout after the Xth time KPJ throws it directly into the arms of a defender standing still, and scream at him and tell him to value the ball. Instead of just stare off into the distance with a stupid grin. If KPJ gets his feelings hurt and leaves the stadium afterwards, then heck even better kill two birds with one stone.
It doesn't matter who the coach is. He's going to be chewed up and spit out just like Silas. Just another shiny toy for Clutchfans to break.
Abdelfattah and it's going to be glorious once we roll out any of these line-ups: Amen Thompson Jalen Green Tari Eason Jabari Smith Alperen Sengun Amen Thompson Jalen Green Cameron Johnson Tari Eason Jabari Smith / Sengun Fred VanVleet Jalen Green Tari Eason Jabari Smith Victor Wembanyama KPJ Jalen Green Cameron Johnson Jabari Smith Victor Wembanyama
If Alpi was in Rick Adelman's modified version of Pete Carril's system, he would had been treated like King, now in silas's isoball 'freestyle' offense he is nothing but a guerrilla.
Right now I’d probably say Quin Snyder is at the top of the list. I wouldn’t be shocked if Tillman wants JVG though. Seems like something he would do. It would be a fun thought but not sure how he’d do being out of coaching for so long.
Becky Hammon would be a disaster. They’d walk all over her. We need to get a disciplinarian coach who will yell at these kids when they make stupid turnovers and get them focused on a nightly basis. Think Paul Silas may be the answer here. On a serious note, JVG is still available for when we decide winning is more important than losing.
Why do you think this? What part of Becky's personality says "walk all over me". She comes from the overtly, take-no-****, Pop tree. Furthermore, she actually has playing experience : 6× WNBA All-Star (2003, 2005–2007, 2009, 2011) 2× All-WNBA First Team (2007, 2009) 2× All-WNBA Second Team (2005, 2008) and recently just won a Championship and Coach of the year in the WNBA after serving 7 years on the Spurs bench as an assistant for argubably the greatest coach of all time. The resume is stacked.
Don't know that we could get him, but guy I really want is Kenny Atkinson. Jordan had him ready to accept a 4-year deal and at the last second he decided to not sign. Believe he is looking for the right opportunity. If we get another great young player next year, that would be a very attractive core to offer any coach and maybe that would tip the scale in our favor. https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/w...-has-no-regrets-staying-warriors-over-hornets He seems to value leadership, relationships and culture. He's run the Dubs offense and now has taken over the defense from Mike Brown. He had the Nets playing hard before he was let go. Not sure how he would feel about our owner, GM or players, but would love to take a swing at bringing Kenny on as our next HC.
