For sure JV game 5. If Javier dominates tomorrow then I'm hoping Click steps in and has Javier go game 7 on short rest followed by a bullpen game. Or Astros win 3 straight to make game 7 moot.

 

You can tip good pitches and get hitters to lay off or swing. Hell you can tell them what you're throwing (remember when LMJ basically did this by throwing 24 straight breaking balls?)

You can't tip bad pitches, like Lance threw, because anyone can hit it. Every HR the Phillies hit was a horrible pitch.

Lance had nothing from the first pitch on (he finally decided to show up for innings 3-4). It happens, this was just a really ****ing bad time for it to do so. The only thing he tipped was telling them he was going to throw the first 2 innings as BP.

And Dusty leaving him out to face Schwarber in the 5th is....?

 

Phillies changed their starter after rain delay. Astros didn't.

I think this gave a lot of time for Phillies to study up in McCullers. Oh well.

 

If the Astros were thinking Lance McCullers should pitch Game 7 also they were Wrong. It won't go to Game 7

Phillies can close out at home if they figure out Javier.

Verlander is easy to hit off of. Pitching scared the whole Postseason. Looks injured with his legs and out if shape also.

 

Sure he deserves blame but was it his fault that we HIT 1-8 with runners on scoring position? You go 1-8 with RISP in a game 7 you aren't winning. We had bases loaded and no outs and didn't score a damn run. The offense has been utter **** for some time now. Don't blame others for bringing up the cheating scandal when our offense has completely disappeared during the world series both in 2019 and 2021. We gotta get our **** together

yes but we knew this offense wasn’t that good during the season they were not consistent enough they got by with pitching and timely hits and it’s showing now when pitching can’t the job done and the bats are dead

 

So where is the guy that doesn't believe me when Lance McCullers Jr pitches scared.

Lance wanted to step over Javier and take his spot and take over Game 7. There is Zero Chance it will go Game 7. Lance and Verlander costs the Astros the Series.

Framber and Javier are the only consistent Starters.

 

Um, if anyone was cheating in the 2021 ALCS it sure wasn't us.

 

At the time I am typing this, he has thrown as many pitches this World Series as the entire board combined. Please don't jinx it.

 

Once lance is throwing all over the plate u know how the game is going to go

Glove height during the delivery was the thing the Phillies were looking at, but it wasn't consistent and had no bearing on the quality of pitches.
