just because i don't post and complain about every game like a lot of other folks, doesn't mean I don't watch them. I know what stage the rockets are in. I know they're not going to be good for a long time. I don't need to b**** about it every single day as if its some surprise. i let it be known the play in talk, easy over 25 wins. .500 claims were pretty in accurate from the beginning
Thank you Paulo Alves. Maybe this will push EG to formally request out. He deserves a chance on a winning team. All those hating on him need to ck themselves. He's done nothing but be a complete professional through all this ish. Most would have asked out a long time ago. Stone made a bad decision not sending him to any of the teams offering a 1st last year. Will be lucky to get that now.
Since they're so enamored with Nix, they should have taken Koloko over TyTy. He'll be very solid for years to come.
Ehh...my understanding was that people didn't want EG to take the shot because those clutch moments are important for development. That's why I was mad he took the shot. If I wanted to win the game I think EG was the best option. But I don't care as much about winning as I do about giving guys experience in that situation. I feel the same way about Sengun being taken out, I was mad, and I watched every second of the game. I don't care as much about "what gives me the highest chance to win" as I do about "what is the best way to get my young players experience in high leverage situations." I'd rather have KPJ take that shot, or Jalen, or Sengun, in that order. I have no interest in giving Eric Gordon crunch time reps. It just does nothing for us.
Isn’t there some notion to the idea that you have to earn your right to be out there? Yes, these are development opps, but we are 1-5. We need wins to kick start some rhythm. Playing isn’t enough. You have to play with a purpose and with a team that’s trying to win the game — not experiment — if you want to actually develop guys. Silas made the “right” decisions based on the idea of winning the game, as he should. It’s not the last 15 of the season where it literally means nothing. Another loss is another brick on this teams shoulders. They will NOT develop by losing. He probably should have left Sengun in. He wasn’t getting torched defensively. The perimeter was by George. And most importantly, we need someone who takes efficient shots AND is capable of passing in those late game situations. I absolutely understand why EG had the ball for last shot. He was shooting better than KPJ , Jabari, and Green
