I still look at the predictive radar on accuweather, and the heavy stuff is gone by 7 central. In fact around that time it clears rain at the stadium for over an hour with only light precip coming in. Will be an interesting decision, cause I think they can play it if they want to
You have a good point. And I did not remember much about last year's WS for some reason. Thinking back, that was the week I was hospitalized and received a stent. I do not know if I didn't watch or I did and forgot.
I agree, I understand what those who say it's bad for Philly to have to potentially play 5 days in a row without pen depth. But if we get Syndergaard tonight and Suarez tomorrow, against Lance and Javier, we have a great chance to be up 3-1. To me our biggest advantage is any game they have to start these two guys and I want that to happen now
If they can pitch Suarez tomorrow in a rainout scenario, why wouldn't they have pitched him in Game 4 instead of "bullpen"?
I see the heavier rain maybe moving out by game time but there are scattered showers behind that. Maybe they can play and I’m wrong but I doubt it.
The Phillies wrapped up the last series in the rain. If they can play that game against the Padres they can get this game in.
I hope when the Astros win the series the last out is a grounder to Altuve. Throws to Yuli and all hell breaks out again
If somebody remembers something wrong others don’t need to brigade him letting him know it. One persons gentle correction will do. So much of what’s wrong with internet discourse.
