New series. Best of 5 with home field to Philly. Astros play better on the road than at home in the WS. On paper we have better #3 and #4 starters. Offense just has to keep averaging at least 5 runs a game and we can win it in 6 or 7.

Onto the next. Philly with home field advantage. Fight like an underdog.

I could live with the Astros recreating the 2019 ALCS. Lose Game 1, win Games 2-4, lose Game 5, and win Game 6 at MMP with a walkoff homer.

Nice win but we almost gave it away in the end.

gotta take 2 in Philly. Their crowd makes ours look corporate. Will be a huge factor.

Good Altuve showed up, Bregman is healthy and raking, Framber is on top of his game.

Scoring 5 runs each when their top 2 starters go is as good as you could dream of.

Dustys poor management is concerning. It’s no wonder he’s never won a World Series.

In all fairness he did not choke because of his pitching, he had a double play and dropped the ball... If he makes that play I'm sure he would have had his first ever not a disaster World Series start and W....

Lol, pretty much this right here. At least we got the W tonight. Let's take care of business in Philly.

The first three runs were fluky - only one well hit ball. In the next inning, I think he had tried to amp it up to much and can’t do that any more. He’s got the ability to do it for a few batters when needed, but not for 30 pitches.

Good thing The Astros had the "cheating" scandal... They been preparing for this the whole time....

Sucks that we lost game 1 but here we are, tied.

Win game 3 at all cost then let the 'curveball guy' steal game 4 and anything goes in game 5. Like it's hard?

The scary part is the Phillies lineup is tough 1-9. Bottom of the order was putting quality ABs and getting on base. This does not bode well for the rest of the series. Also they are getting a good look at everyone in our bullpen, and also having success against all of them. Abreu, Montero, and Pressly

Would they have reviewed that fake home run if the fans weren't so emphatic it was foul?

Forreal. The depression last night and into this morning was real.

I don't see why Astros don't go on 4 game winning streak....

If you assume we lose game 5 with JV starting (extremely likely), that means we still need to win 3 of the other 4 games.

This one's gonna take a minor miracle.
