The problem is Dusty is rigid with Yordan not playing LF when Framber pitches. Too bad he didn't experiment with Hensley in the field at all during the regular season so we don't know if he can hold it down there. The guy has impressed at almost every at bat when given the chance.

Projected order from Brian McTaggert has Diaz at DH. That’s laughable.

JV gave up 5 earned runs exactly once in 28 regular season starts. That's less than 4% of the time for anyone keeping count.

He's now done it twice in 3 postseason starts, or 67% of the time.

Hensely? Vazquez? Dubon? What you got?

And I agree Diaz is a lost cause at this point.

Your DH being an automatic out, nothing sounds right about that.

We need Carlos Correa to go in the locker room and motivate guys like altuve and Alvarez.

I'm still sad. The Astros have been punished enough already with two WS losses since 2017.

Astros heavy favorites, home field advantage, NL East team, and Verlander on the mound for game 1 at home. It was almost a lock to be down 0-1.

    Tonight is a must win.

Curious if Ben Dubose either deleted his own twitter account or got banned. I know he was spewing expletives at MLB Umpire Associations twitter. And getting into it with other Astros fans.

Verlander is has the worst ERA in World Series history. Hard to wrap my mind around that.

    Let's get this win fellas

They slapped us. Lets punch them back.

JV needs to either speak up and sit down or come back for one more W.

    Not there yet though

    Lets go H Town

I like Ben. I was a regular listener to his Locked on Rockets pod and sometimes I even set up Twitter alerts for his account. He seemed to be losing his composure last night and my guess is he deleted his account. I think a similar thing happened last WS.

He needs to take responsibility by faking an injury so he doesnt pitch again this World Series.

There's no one in charge of Twitter to ban anyone right now.

Yea. It’s amazing we are 7-1. Altuve is just a basket case. Alvarez for his booming start to the post season has been a shrinking violet since then for the most part. Your rookie has done the heavy lifting. Can’t complain about Bregman or Tucker. Hell old man Gurriel is doing ok. The DH spot? Eesh. I would rather roll the dice with Vazquez there if we aren’t going to try Hensley. Losing the DH if we have to move Vazquez to catcher brings us to where we are now with pitchers producing .000 like Trey and Diaz. Team is resilient. They are not going to go out with a whimper. But we best get to Wheeler early tonight and hope that Framber doesn’t have his patented mental brain fart in the 1st or 2nd inning. If we allow Philly a quick 2 or 3 run lead our pressing batters are going to feel even more pressure and I am not sure they are up to it.
