Jalen Green was trying to instruct him about his defense, was getting beat up inside by "The Replacements"...Jabari needs to learn his role, but he'll get there.
What's everyone's take on this bench altercation during crunch time in the 4th?

No rookie in ANY workplace will just get an automatic pass and inclusion in the ranks. Jalen had to earn his stripes and so will Jabari. A good place to start would be making those wide open shots that should be automatic so that the team can trust him when they pass him the ball. If Jalen is on him about his defense then I'd be curious to know more about that exchange. Jabari hasnt been some "Locksmith" so far and if a guy who hasnt been known for defense is on you for that aspect I could see why it would ruffle his feathers especially if it were true. Getting combative when co-workers are critical of your work is a bad look for anyone.

IF this was Green instructing Jabari on defense I can see why Jabari would be frustrated. Green had an ass game defensively last night.

Unless, Green said "I wanted Banchero!" You maybe right HOWEVER We won't know and it doesn't matter.... It's not a bad look IMO.

If he plays like this when he’s pizzed, someone needs to yell at him every game. Seriously, this is all about nothing

Jalen Green being the team spokesman on defense would be a new role........

Jalen Green instructing Jabari on his defense would be like 13-14 Harden trying to hold people accountable on that end

Green was getting cooked on defense like a rotisserie chicken last night

Green wanted Banchero. He’s frustrated because Jabari can’t create his own shot.

Well, unless you’re Lebron James. Pretty sure he didn’t have to earn his stripes haha

No it's Sengun's fault. Check his statline last night: 0 points, 0 rebounds. He was lazy as hell.

Such a reach here....even if the "wide open shots" were a factor, then jalen would be the first to not blow that out of proportion considering his rookie struggles...as far as the "locksmith"....its harder to play defense when half ur team doesnt communicate on defense and the coaching is suspect to say the least

I doubt it's that personal. Jalen was trying to 'talk shop' and Jabari seemed offended. It was awesome to see Jalen super professional during his post game interview with glowing praise for Jabari. It just reminds me of all the bright eyed, bushy tailed engineers that I've worked with along the years. They come out of school with their shadowboxed degrees ready to change the world! Then they find out that their first duty is to make copies! Poor guys - first with their hands up during meetings with really exciting ideas only to be greeted with eye rolls from the other tenured guys. Jabari just needs to keep his mouth closed and head up - keep making shots and the totem will assimilate naturally. Barking and getting visibly shook is understandable in the heat of the moment, but its also a sign of maturity issues IMO.

13-14 Harden held his defenders to 41% shooting according to the numbers, but we all saw what he was doing out there…Green was getting cooked like shrimp and chicken

Where are you getting that 41% number for Harden?
