I agree with this but even if the defense played well and it were close, you honestly think Mills would've made the necessary plays to win?
Maybe if he had more than a half ass offensive line and a couple receivers who can get wide open, and actually drag their toes after a catch to stay inbounds like many quarterbacks have. Catch and drop. That's what we usually see. I'm also sick of using running backs so much to pass to.
This team is bad all around. A quarterback's nightmare to try and learn and grow as a player. I guess we're still gonna be in the 30 spot for yards allowed on defense, unless we slip to the bottom.
