I think Tilman wants them to lose to get a high draft pick again, so he's probably okay with Silas.

I hope Jalen Green can keep his aggressiveness on the court.

Go to get the ball! You are the leader of this team. Don't hide yourself.

Throw out win totals, advanced states, etc ... . I'd just like to be able to watch the Rockets in March/April and not come away thinking this is a bad basketball team. That's the goal this year.

Because right now, woof, this is a bad basketball team.

Memphis is getting brutalized by the Mavericks right now. The 2nd half of a b2b thing is real.

Bucks played 1 game this week, are a good team, with lots of size and interior defense. Rockets have no size even at full strength.

Other than some crazy small ball game breaking out and the Rockets hitting a billion 3s, this was never going to end well.

The way we run our offense is not related to how strong the opponents are. It is not just a we are not winning thing. On a player level, i think there are positives, but horrible on a team level.

I cringe whenever I see him get into iso. It's a mess of overdribbling, endless hesis, and a high-difficulty shot which rarely goes in. I'd rather he does quick stepback threes or drives directly to the hoop over the iso game he plays so often.

Bad matchup for a team trying to find its identity.

I am fine with the loss, but our coaching didn't make any progress. Nobody knows what Silas taught to the team.

Do you know why he does that? because our offensive set up isn't a moving one. He and Green share the ball and the other three players stand in position without moving. You only get assists also if your team mates can hit shots, no matter how many times you set them up. We missed a few open ones.

We got crushed tonight, but a few bright spots:

Garuba looked way better than I thought. I've been down on Garuba to the point of wondering if he's an NBA player. I still can't say for sure, but his activity and reflexes showed up on the court. Not that he slowed down Giannis or anything, but then again no one did.

I liked the way Tari played.

    That's kinda it.

Brook Lopez was a difference maker for the Bucks. Green, KPJ, KJ, and Jabari could not score on him at the rim. I thought Green could have had 30 or more points if it wasn't for Lopez, because it allowed their guards to overdefend players at the three point line knowing if they get beat Lopez is going to stop drivers at the rim.

It's like KPJ is playing 'Things To Make People Hate Me' Bingo - he's ticking off so many things.

The latest play he loves is getting past his player, then ignoring everything in front of him, even though often times he's got a lane or wide open shot, then looks behind him and waits for the defender to get back in the play and now he's in a much worse off position.

I hate when Harden used to do it.

I still hate it when KPJ does it.

It's been a while since I've hated a player like him, can't even recall a Rocket i've despised as much as him.

I don't get why people say this.

Pull up the 2019 Rockets. That team didn't move.

2022-3 Rockets have lots more off ball movement. LOTS MORE.

I just don't get why Silas doesn't incorporate high screens 2-3 ft beyond the 3 pt line for Green. When Green has such an elite 2nd and 3rd gear speed, why not take advantage of that and give him as much downhill space to accelerate using a high screen well beyond the 3? You see the Grizz do that with Morant and it opens up his game so much because he can just get to his final gear of speed with all that down hill room to operate. You don't see any of that type of stuff on this offense.

I also wonder why silas does not do anything? Is there really anything that we can call, we started doing this?

I think the Rockets have got to do a better job of feeding the hot hand, whether it was Jalen after he scored a bunch of threes in a row, or Jabari after he hit a couple in the 4th. This is where I think KPJ needs to work on his game the most, and where I think Silas needs to improve on his playcalling.

Now granted, players with the hot hand need to do a better job of demanding the ball (looking at you, Jalen) but I think having a more traditional point guard would also make it easier on our guys as well. That said, KPJ has been improving and I hope will continue to improve. Will he ever be a real PG? Probably not. But his body language has been good and his three has been consistent.
