I originally voted for Rush Hour, but the 1's is starting to catch on a little.

After this gets decided, then we should move on for a vote for a nickname for our power forward combination.

My vote is for "Mo[e] Howard." nuck nuck nuck

We are forcing this. Nick names really do grow organically...and a lot of it has to do with the player's style of play.

    Big Fundamental
(it's really dumb but it is really the truth...which is why it works somehow)

    Round Mound of Rebound
    Pistol Pete
    The microwave
The mailman (sorry to bring it up)
    The glove (again, sorry)
    .
    .
    .
    Air Bull

These nick-names occured because of "style of play" rather than cute spin-offs. These names are usually the best, IMO, because they conjure up an image of the the player which adds to the mystic of the name.

Yao hasn't developed a 'style' yet and neither TMAC or YAO have done anything in the playoffs yet...where true nick names are earned or at least solidified.

I still can't believe all those people voting for M&M, that must be the corniest one up there.

that is true krosfyah but right now we have nothing else better to do. im sure many more "interesting" threads will start popping up after july 14th (i think that is the date FA signing starts?) plus this is all for fun... we did get TMAC afterall:D

YUCK......sorry I just threw up a little in my mouth...

Man no offense to anyone but those suck.....bad...I'm all for a cool nickname for the dynamic duo but I think that these are all rushed and just not very good. I don't see any off these sticking.

    Jordan and Pippen
    Stockten and Malone
    Shaq and Kobe
Magic and Kareem (show time lakers was the team)

McGrady already has a nickname with T-Mac, Yao doesn't even tho it seems Dynasty is catching on a bit. I just don't see them having a join nick name

    *cough cough* dynamic duo

How about "The Gift and the Curse"

For real though I think the nick name that'll end up being used will probably be given by some lame sportscaster or someone in the media . I used to like the nicks that Craig Kilborn would say when he was the lead guy on Sportscenter especiallly when he'd say stuff like "Not your Vidas but Arvidas Sabonis" or when he used to call Gheorge Muresan "Jorge" (hor-hay). Or when he'd holler out "Threeeeeeeee-Cola" after a 3 pointer went in.

The reason I think it'll be a sportscaster is cause that person would always be on tv saying it and it would catch on faster.

1 and 11. Maybe it should be the One-Eleven?

Instead of plainly using "111," consider the following:

    One-eleven, Houston's newest area code!

I personally like "The 1s" the best...

I'll take McDynasty. I think it's obvious to an average sports fan what it means.

Big Mac sounds like it's just a bout T-Mac. But Dynasty has to do with the Ming Dynasty (sometimes used last year), so it incorporates Yao.
