The 'Heaven' Song seems to be pretty nice. Any one follow them? Just trying to support the local guys Rocket River
I've seen them in concert twice. They're very good, but it's not really a band that I follow regularly. I like them live, but not as much recorded.
Great band, although I like their playing more than I like their songs. It's always good to see Texas bands hit it big...except for Cooder Graw!
I have their album and I think its really good. I wanted to see them when they came to Tucson but unfortunately they played at a club that you had to be 21 to get into.
I remember them playing at one of the Rockets games that I went to. My dad and I both thought that they weren't all that good and wondered if they were the best the Rockets could get. Now I see them on VH1 and performing on Jay Leno.(only saw this to get ready for Conan) Guess that shows how good my talent evaluation is. Now I'm saying, "Eh...I guess they're not that bad."
Ya, guys that get praised by Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, and Paul Simon usually suck. John Mayer plays with Paul Simon on VH1's In Tune. John Mayer Joins Eric Clapton Crossroads Festival As well as John Mayer and Clapton, the three day event will feature Buddy Guy, Eric Johnson, B.B. King, Brian May, Pat Metheny, Otis Rush, Carlos Santana, James Taylor, Steve Vai, Jimmie Vaughan, Joe Walsh and ZZ Top. Might want to listen to more than one song next time.
Maybe the first anti-Austin thing you've posted ever. Yes, I know they're originally out of San Angelo, but Austin's their home now.
