Down 5 with 34 seconds to go on a dead ball, why doesn’t he call timeout to advance the ball??? Seems like basic clock management to me I swear this is not the first time he does this ****, get this guy off my my teamm
Memphis is a championship contender and we showed everything you wanted to see from a bunch of teenagers / 20 year olds.
Honestly I don't see a great disparity in talent between us and them aside maybe Ja. The biggest difference was coaching.
When your owner gives you orders to be competitive but he still wants a top draft pick this year…. You do the small things to make that happen…..
Haha clutchfans meltdowns, we aren’t gonna be winning many games just let it ride. No expectations, no let downs. All in for wemby and scoot!
I'm just super annoyed that he acknowledged that he should stagger Jalen and KPJ's minutes after Game 1...then proceeded to not do it tonight
Aside from ... maybe the guy who scored 50 points and is a unanimous top-10 player? lol If Sengun hits a few more FTs and Smith doesn’t shoot so very poorly, we win a game against the 2nd best team in the league last year whose superstar went nuclear. It was a 7-point game Y'all want us to do what? Be like the Kings and fire our coach every 3 games and expect it to make all the difference ignoring the roster construction? We currently have the 2nd youngest team in the league a hair behind OKC. Silas' job has been to tank 3 years in a row, and you think he should be punished for that and abruptly fired 2 games into the season? The GM's general sentiment on media day this year on how he will measure our success was - our players' growth, and not by wins but how "tough we are to play against"... code for competitive... while expected to be losing. We #1 have been competitive and #2 the growth amongst our young players, most importantly Jalen has been VERY good.
You left out the thing that silas does over and over again the most and when I saw the title I thought I was going to see it in your post. And that is, that silas cries alot. Sure he doesn't call timeouts in crucial late game situations, I get that, but I think he cries more often than he fails to call timeouts. Just my opinion.
Well, ****, what kinda **** are you expecting in the 2nd game of the season ****?! Cluthfans are always talking ****!! ****!!!!
Silas is doing exactly what he is supposed to. Stay close or lead, then give it up in the 4th. no way we’re winning it all with this team so might as well tank in style
Rank President Fertitta General Stone Commander Silas Don't hate the commander for following the orders the president gave the general.
Wait when someone like Ego or Mathews has this miraculously hot shooting stretch, and Silas will smile even more.
